Pepe ( please be fit )
    Jonno Carra Agger Jose
    Dwoning Lucas Stevie Couts
    Studge Luis

    subs, jones,wisdom,skrts,shelvey,raheem,hendo,assaidi

allen being injured weakens our bench, tempted to start skrts, as i think carra was mainly at fault for spurs goals

The Saints are in trouble ,you can win 3/4-0 easily , may be another hat-trick for Gerrard .

I agree, his header was weak for the 2nd one and barely got off the ground. I think by now Skertel would have sorted himself out, he's been off the team for some time now, I'm sure, given the chance he'd want to prove himself. It's important Carra gets more games as well, being his last season, but not if it's going to cost the team wins.

Love Carra, but I'd like to see return of Skrtel, also Pepe to replace Jones, other than that, no other changes from the team that started against Spurs.

I dunno.. its kind of early to call with knocks and all.

I think personally allen should not come on if so injured and henderson has done well.

I think reina in is the only required switch. I debate it cos frankly its a 4-2-4 going away from home to a gorund where if we get control there will have to be space. SOuthampton need points so 0-0 surely is not enough.

I think 4-3-3 would be the way to go myself and i'd have henderson on for downing and then just swap coutinho and downing on 65mins... get control of the middle get johnson and enrique forward and let coutinho unlock them.

Yep, I agree with that team. Suarez playing off Sturridge in a free role has been working well for us. I'd like to see Sterling get some game time also. He was exellent for the U21s this week.

He was good along with Suso but after the way Coutinho and Downing played ( and scored) against Spurs,I can only see these two along wth Sturridge and Suarez. Might make the bench though.

Indeed, I may have put my comment across incorrectly - I meant from the bench.

    Fair one. <ok>

Although feel that would be hard on Suso and could be a game for Suso as well. With pOcho probably wanting to come out and attack, would leave a lot of space for the AM to pull the strings.

Yeah, however I would be wary of changing the team up. We really need to keep this momentum going now. They're both good options to come off the bench. I'd restrict Suso playing on the wing though, it looked to have an adverse affect on him.

whazzup with you now... too many eastern european women with sharp teeth or what?

Coutinho deserves the start and frnakly he can only last so long it seems so its obvious despite what others might want that downing would come on.

I think henderson, gerrard and lucas is the way to go i nthe middle... why not? cos downing had a couple of tap ins? i think we need to control the middle and bring those full backs on into the game here.... just my opinion.

Thats what i am debating, leave it as is exactly per daydo and just bring reina back or change it like i describe... its debatable.

I would like to see Skrtel and Wisdom playing in defence in place of Carra and Glen Johnson with Pepe in goal. I thought the defence was poor against Spurs.

Johnson has been excellent all season and after one bad game you want to drop him for a makeshift novice right-back?

    Wow.

This would be awesome... but I dont think we're allowed two keepers!

/ I know... I know... but that's how I read it at first and I chuckled when I realised I had misread.

He has been excellent going forward but the guy cant defend to save his life. English football fans think hes amazing for some reason but imo hes not a great right back at all and I would prefer a right back that can defend. That ok with you?
