    My apologies DMD, missed that.
I think this one is worth a thread of its own though.

They got there 20 minutes late.

WYP have so little to do, they got themselves involved in Policing last nights game by delaying a coach load of City fans so that they missed the kick off.

Keep the pressure on folks, it's clearly working. Fortunately their plan backfired as despite provocation, nobody reacted, which shows we're well behaved and they're overstaffed, incompetent ****ers. <ok>

The open letter to WYP clearly states that there is a risk element and they have no objection to these people being heavily policed/monitored. Sometimes you reap what you sow?

They were NOT a risk element. Had they been a risk, or as some noddy claimed, drunk, they would not have been allowed in the ground.

The fact they were allowed to proceed and enter the ground is proof enough they'd broken no law.

WE SHOULD BE STOOD SHOULDER TO SHOULDER, NOT BITCHING AND GUESSING.

Then tell that to the fsf. They have no problem with this sort of discrimination.

Eh? Of course they have a problem with it. They fight tooth and nail against abuse of football fans, and they have been informed of this latest abuse.

What the FSF have said is that if the Police have information on individuals, they should act on that, not abuse the rights of random people on a whim as they appear to have done last night.

Why are WYP getting involved with a game in Burnley anyway?

I suggest it's because they're being pressed to provide supporting evidence for their actions and have none. They were hoping that by harassing City fans, someone would react and provide some belated justification. They failed.

They have been abusing the rights of individuals for many a long year. Now they have lost the Bates court case they can no longer charge foorball clubs. For their sins, the WYP have decided to make the udders game a "bubble match" event.
    Question.
Does "bubble match" policing = cheap, cost effective policing?

They can still charge football clubs, but not to the same extent they could. They (and possibly other forces) have to pay compensation for what they overcharged before. When asked how much extra the move to tea-time kick off cost, the Police said £30k. When it was suggested that being the case, could the clubs pay the £30k and have it Policed sensibly, the Police still said no.

They're just out of touch with modern football fans and upset that they've killed the goose that laid the Golden Egg.

Seems like a silly and unnecessary move, especially given the current circumstance. There's always a chance it was at the request of Lancashire Police but if it wasn't then there's really no need to get involved.

I don't however believe it was an attempt to provoke people in order to justify their actions regarding the Huddersfield game, if anything that would have just been counter-productive for them had the only trouble last night occurred on a coach that they were monitoring.

The fact that you have publically ridiculed the WYP with your campaign has made you(Hull fans) a target, the WYP are vindictive in the extreme and will go the extra mile in their persuit to make things as difficult as possible for anyone that has made things uncomfortable for them in the past.
Keep up the good work as you are clearly getting to them<ok>

Which trouble makers would they be? They can't be very good at it as we have an extremely low number of arrests at our games.

Was the bus the ONE Official Tiger Travel bus OR the Northern Spirit Booze bus that does have some dodgy (shall we say) fans on it ?

How the hell can WYP get involved in this as the game came under Lancashire Police.
