It is a problem for all clubs in the Premiership. I totally understand the comments from SOS but I also understand Ayre's dilemma. Whilst not the be all and end all, match day income is still a very important part of our revenue stream. We already suffer from a lower capacity than a number of our major rivals. Perhaps there is some help that could be offered by staging the payments?

    well said billy.

for me it's the wages and transfer fees doing it. get the FA/UEFA or whoever the **** to implement a cap on all player wages and agent fees, helps the fans out a lot - the reason football is such a big sport!

Your first point is exactly the point I was making, isn't it? As for the second one, I don't see how its relevant.

Stoke have outspent you in terms of transfers (net spend), yes, but its wages that show a teams real spending power. You spend £10m more a year than Stoke on wages. You'll find that its wages that usually dictate where a team finishes in the league, which is why Arsenal

And I don't even know what this is about!??!

Problem is Drogs the FA/UEFA give even less of a **** about us than the clubs themselves do. They are there solely to look after their own and the clubs interests and as long as the cash keeps rolling in they don't give a **** where it comes from. It's a gravy train and the top boys won't risk losing that for the likes of us.

Oh to be a Bundesliga fan eh.

The clubs seem to havin cosy chats together to make FFP work, and therefore make sure less money goes to the players, but they dont seem to be avin cosy chats about reducing prices. I think the governmenet needs to get involved, we need to build up pressure ( all clubs ) through the media until something changes

Less than £15 a game in Germany, f**kin disgrace

Less than £15 quid a game AND their league is thriving. Says it all really. Almost makes me want to cheer the Germans at the next world cup.

On the PL table, what's that Red downwards pointing arrow next to Everton and the green one next to Liverpool? I don't understand it.
