You know what really pisses me off? plastic ****s on Facebook! a lot of the people I grew up with support Man u, Arsenal, Liverpool and ****e like that but when we win they make a status saying UTT does anyone else notice this or did I just grow up with a load of plastic twats?
Most of my mates supported City thankfully. There were a few who supported the various better teams, but apart from a Leeds fan, who came to watch us in the premier league days and then went back to "following" Leeds, they've kept on supporting their sides. Although, following Man Utd, Liverpool etc is hardly thick and thin. I'm fine with new comers- Ellewoods, Febbos, HFFP, American Plastic have all contributed on here & more than welcome. But if they come to support their other teams and not City, then they can do one.
Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, if you support city you support city and I look at you no different but if your claiming your a Man UTD fan 90% of the time and have photos of you in your UTD shirt and your trip round Old Tafford but then have the cheek but put UTT when we win that is what I see as wrong.
Especially when they've mocked you for supporting city and then we reach the prem and theyre all for city.. Absolutely pisses me off, dont want them at the kc again
exactly, I had the same guy on Facebook saying when we played the Wendies saying we are not a prem team and we are ****e and tonight hes saying "Go on city get in, prem here we come" His profile pic is a Liverpool badge

Someone who I grew up with is is a 'Man U' fan. Never been to Old Trafford in his life. He actually takes the trouble to post on my profile and laugh when City lose. First class ****!!
one of my FB 'friends' posted last night on my wall "ha ha din't know Steve Bruce was your manager, I hate him" .. cos we were on TV no doubt.. he's Liverpool so probably hates the Man U connection.. has he ever been to Anfield? you know the answer..
It possibly sounds arrogant, but I don't give a **** but with the occasional exception, I won't discuss football with people that have chosen a team they've no connection with (especially if they still have a local rugby team they follow) and I tell them so. They're entitled to follow who they want, but I'm entitled to believe they've missed the point of football. It's a tribal thing, not something to fill a void in a weak personality. It's not just about two dozen blokes booting a football.
Never understood how you can think you 'support' a top 4 club you never go to hundreds of miles away from where you were born and bred and how when it suites you can divide that loyalty. I only talk football with real City fans, know 2 blokes who think they support Chelsea and Arsenal, never talk to them about football because of the contempt I hold for their armchair views.

By that logic, which i agree with, you shouldn't entertain the so called City fans on here who have no link to Hull.
Shouldn't I? Most, if not all the ones you seem to referring to are from out of this Country and became aware of City through various means. That, for me is different.
Fans who follow 'smaller' clubs have a much better knowledge of football in general. And can take defeat in a much more civil manner. 'Cos, let's face it, we've been used to it in the past. It's good for the soul, and makes winning that much more enjoyable.
I'm with you on this, that's what annoyed me most about being in the premier league, these **** wits suddenly had opinions on city (usually whatever the MOTD pundits had said the weekend before) and thought they could have a proper football conversation about our team.
