No of course not, we only want you to win all the games that benefit us. You can drop points on all the other ones.
I may be looking at the table the wrong way up. I see the others 2 points and 3 points behind you and am not sure why you think our results matter. We want them to lose and us to win, we get the gap that seals it then and only then worry about who comes top cause right now neither of us might be in the top two its too close. jck
You can beat the 2 below us, but against everyone else we don't care what your results are. If anything we'd actually prefer you to lose the other games so that you get dragged into the battle for promotion, as that's one other team that could drop out in our place if we make a cock up one week. Leicester fall into that second category now. If we're worrying about finishing behind Leicester then we're saying we're going to make at least 3 cock ups in 9 games (and more every time Leicester fail to win), if we do that we're not getting automatically promoted so it doesn't really matter which of the sides finish above us.
Not really, you dont get into the top two for real in this league playing virtual football. At least you can relax for a while we cant we have a game tomorrow. We will go through exactly what you went through tonight but at least you came out winning god knows what our result will be. jck
Leicester are ten points behind us, if they beat you tomorrow they're still seven points behind us and we're level on points with you at the top of the table. If things were reversed you wouldn't give a **** about tomorrow's result either, it's a win-win for us.
Not a great game, but the win and the clean sheet is much more important. Well done to the Tigers fans who went to the game tonight, must have been ****ing baltic out there.
Ok look at it this way, we will be all out to beat Palace and Watford and if we secure promotion we will not be trying in the last game of the season. jck
3 points ahead of us with TWO games in hand. But you were right to correct OLM - he sounds confused tonight!
Good times , what a great position to be in at this time of the season Well done to all the fans who made it to Burnley
Not the best game, but who cares a great win. At this stage of the season these types of wins are what you need. UTT.
You are also confused, if Cardiff lose tomorrow, they'll be 3 points ahead with ONE game in hand. We are all in a state of shock due to us beating Burnley
No, I'm not because I was responding to TygerTyger who said: "they are still 3 points ahead of us (and a game in hand)" which was the present tense not the future tense which would be "they will still be 3 points ahead of us (and a game in hand)".
