Their website is even worse, the rumours section is staffed by a bloke with a load of darts and a sticker album. Throw the darts and see which player is linked with which club.
"What's the point in Celtic" wasn't the topic, it was more "Where next for Celtic?". It questioned the point in a league which is comfortably won 2/3 through the season and asked whether Celtic might join the PL or a pan-European league. It also asked how the scotch league could be made more competitive. It also mentioned that Rangers are seriously considering coming to the league or the non-league. Can't remember who but some high up at the club was quoted.
I would love to be a radio host. My first debates would be - Rice crispy cakes or cornflake cakes? Did Stanley Kubrick really support St Mirren? Should Russell Brand be executed? Does Donny Osmond masterbate? The Falklands or Canvey Island? What a show that would be, eh?
Never listened to it once in my life. I've read several articles on their website through NewsNow - trashy low brow speculation, and a lot of it trying to deliberately provoke a reaction (such as an article called "6 Celtic players too good to play for them").
It has gone downhill since they got rid of Gary Bushell but there's still Collymore, Parlour, Irani and Gough. Love Collymore, he's used the word "nebulous" several times tonight, reckon he thumbs through a dictionary prior to the show looking for a new word to impress with.
I'm glad the word is spreading! Not so sure tits on the radio works, apart from Talk Sport of course.
I don't recall him saying it. To be honest I have TalkSport on the radio in the kitchen alot of the day and evenings but drift in and out of actually listening to what's being said. Might be on my laptop or maybe just too pissed to notice.
They've got rid of all of the outspoken presenters from Bushell and Whale on the right to Galloway on the left. In fact, they've made the station 24 hour sports chat now, no politics or current affairs. Used to like listening to the late night political debates.
Who was that dick from Coventry who they fired? He was an awful ****. So was Charlie Wolf... Tommy Boyd.... The greatest radio host ever to grace the airwaves. Fact. I stopped listening to it on the basis that it was ****e. I still listen to the Hawksbee and Jacobs clips of the week though.
You're going back way before I started listening. Others they've got rid of that I used to listen to: Ian Collins, Mike Mendoza, Terry Christian.
