Well I am affording you the opportunity to clarify the apparent hypocrisy. You can tell me how much like Med Dog that is, or explain it.

Is it a football matter or not?

Citing something Scott Brown said in a completely different context is more Med Dog like if you want my opinion.

    By what.

Do you think Mulgrew should be allowed to say whatever the **** he wants whenever the **** he wants?

Do you think there should be any limits on what he says?

relating to football... yes. Yes, he can say what he likes as long as it's not offensive.

    Fair enough.

I'm not arguing. I really want to explore how far a player should be allowed to go when opining on things he probably shouldn't.

Commons last week took a little swipe at Juve training at Ironside arena. It was funny, but the message was right. It ain't nowt to do with us.

Mulgrew earns a very good living from Celtic supporters who pay his wages.
Mulgrew is employed by the club.
Mulgrew was being interviewed while representing the club at a PC.
Mulgrew was in the clubs employ while being interviewed.

Of course he should watch what he says.
When he leaves a kid in a car without protectionif a child seat or belt, that is his personal life, but matters relating to football are not.

He should have thought more carefully before shooting off his gob.

Wonder how Mulgrew will feel in a couple of years time, if offended and disillusioned celtic fans don't turn up and he is playing in front of 20,000 or so, then has his contract cut in half, because he gave credence to an act of corruption by allowing a new club to catapult over competitor clubs simply because of their crowd size. Why not make the top league a closed shop, only for the best attended clubs?

Mulgrew never put his brain in gear before spewing crap.

Why do you think they never asked NL or PL that question.

MSM picked their victim very carefully. Hmmmm, now who is dft enough? Then a simultaneous grin breaks out as they all say the same name.

Mulgrew when talking about Rangers has given his true opinion. I would not have wanted him to lie just because I didn't agree with his opinion.

Mulgrew was representing the club, paid by the club at a Club PC....... this is no time or place for HIS personal viewpoint. He should have side stepped it if he was too thick to see the trap.

If you want to know his personal opinion go roon tae his hoose an ask him, but a club press conference is no place for HIS opinion.

Frankly, I don't give a feck about his personal opinion. I want to know what the club stand point is.

Mulgrew has given MSM their next negative celtic headline. Someone at the club will have to make a public statement on the clubs stance, otherwise it will be assumed by MSM tht Mulgrew represented the clubs view.

Mulgrew should only do a PC on condition that he is wearing a Hanibal Lector mask.

Quite. Although he is unable to articulate his position as evidenced by his later tweet.

Your anger is the most surprising thing - you seem to be angry at someone diverging from the party line and for letting it be known. This is not something as serious as politics though and who cares what the MSM think, it's a sport and it is supposed to be fun. I don't agree with Charlie Mulgrew, neither do you - but I respect his right to give an honest reply to a harmless question and I certainly wouldn't ask one of our players to give disingenuous or crowd pleasing replies if he doesn't actually hold those views - that would be a bit Charles Greenesque.

Fun.......darts are fun, pool is fun....football is business. Catapulting SEVCO is cheating. Simply cheating.

Mulgrew was speaking at a club PC of course he tows the party line. He is paid enough to do so. Doesn't like it....go play for Thistle etc.

Harmless question.....read some of my posts. MSM are laying the ground, testing the water as they did for title stripping, the opposition to which weakened considerably.

    Smell the coffee.

Scotland and Scottish football has an agenda. Two years from now SEVCO will by hook or crook be in the CL . Enjoy this years and next, cos if SEVCO are catapulted into the SPL then THEY know they can do anything. We already have a president of the SFA who hid, according to LNS payments to players to deliberately avoid tax and who owes a member club £95K.

This will destroy scottish football to SEVCO benefit. Catapulting them is corrupt. Approve of it by silence or apathy, but I don't. Oppose it and my conscience is clear. Two years time is too late. NL says they are not on our radar..........naive indeed. They are lurking in the shadows and their mates are ready to mug us and Mulgrew is giving them permission.
Watch how many celtic fans desert the club if this goes ahead. SEVCO are desperate. Fighting for their ver survival, witness £6.4m in season tickets, advertising, sponsorship etc. do the maths yourself......they have only SOLD. 23,000 or so ST. That will fall dramatically when the supremacists realise that they have a very very long way back.

Put your head in the sand if you want.

    Variations on a theme;

What do you think of Sevco getting a bunk up?

"Im a celtic player, questions regarding other clubs do not concern me and are none of my business. Next question please"

What do you think of the speculation linking you with Barcelona?

"I can't do anything about that Speculation, I am contracted to Celtic and I am of course going to give of my best"

Roy Hodgson was at the match today, what about your international ambitions?

"of course it is every players dream to play for their country, I can only do my best for Celtic and hopefully get the rewards from there?

"The death penalty? Well Jim, We have some great MP's down there in Westminster, triffic MP's. I think we have to trust that they'll make the right decision on our behalf"
