George Boyd has been regarded as a 'talent' in the Championship for many years and has been the subject of much speculation of a move to 'bigger' Championship clubs in that time and even to some Premiership clubs (admittedly not the big boys) ... frankly I wish we had brought him in but probably fair to say that we have sufficient cover in his favoured 'positions' .....
I've wanted us to sign Boyd for the past two years, I was excited when I heard we'd made an approach and having just scored two goals and won MotM in his home debut, I'm bloody ecstatic. Only one game obviously, but I thought he was our MotM last week too and he only played half an hour.
