    Morning Folks,

    Everyone alright?

Reflecting back on the weekend, I suppose a 2-2 draw was fair, BUT being 2-1 up with only 3 or 4 minutes remaining, you'd think that we would be able to hold Palace off. WHY OH WHY do we keep conceding late goals.

Its fair to say that Leeds rode their luck at times; Saha and Dobbie both went close in the second half, though if Varney had been a bit quicker following Greens shot at goal, we would have got in at half time all level. As the ball broke free, three Palace defenders were in front of goal to block Varneys shot. Why can't we defend like that?

Green impresses me, he likes to get forward, has good skill, and has an eye for goal. Personally I believe the midfield we have at the moment has to be considered our strongest, though I still have my doubts about Varney. I have to say, I cannot see Austin getting back in the squad, I wonder if we would get our money back if we sold him???

Considering we went to Palace, who have the best home record in the division, it gave me heart that we were only minutes away from victory.

Morrison took his goals well, cool and calm infront of goal and came across as full of confidence. Lets hope he is not one of these players that blow hot and cold.

It was interesting that when we conceded our second, Warnock used all three substitutions, and even gave Hall a run out for the last four minutes of injury time, though Diouff was nowhere to be seen, not even on the subs bench. I wonder......

What did everyone think about Zaha's one finger gesture towards the Leeds fans?

Leeds fans were jeering him re signing for manure....

    Morning Elland et al,

I wondered about the Diouf situation myself at the weekend, but it appears that he was ill, according to sauces on Twitter.

Btw Elland, watch the incident you mentioned with the 3 defenders again. This time, watch Veg Varney standing pedestrian-like on the 18 yard line watching the play go by. If he'd been fit to be called a striker, he would have been encroaching into the acres of space available to him, rather than reacting too late. Striker my arse!

I said that live, he doesn't have a striker's instinct. He should've anticipated that and even if he didn't, he shouldn't have been so flat footed so that he woulda been able to get there anyway

    Morning all btw

    I concur!

Hulse & Keogh up front. Two good strikers but they dont seem to score enough!

I think you may have missed a trick not finishing them off at home as I expect them to beat you at Ewood. Not that I want to watch those boring bastards go any further!

I see Lowry hasnt changed either! <laugh>

By the time Blackburn knock you out of the cup you will have been distracted for another three games, losing them as a result. By which time you will be in deepest do dah.
Do you need a map of division 3 grounds?

McDermott has left Reading, surely he will at least be mentioned to take over from Warnock, what would everyone think? Wouldn't be my first choice.

Was thinking the same. We need a strong personality, and good tactician. Nigel Atkins for me

Adkins is still my first choice but I'd be happy with McDermott.
