Gooch was doing a Bruce watch it took til quarter past eight for him to pass it forward and win a tackle. However as he improved, the team improved, its clear how desperate we are for an out and out defensive midfield player. That Mee doesn't look bad but pretty sure he is naturally a CB.
Why the hell did Fathi not start this game instead of Bruce. 90 Egyptian caps...maybe the best player on our books... and Bruce puts his kid in MF. I think Bruce is a brilliant manager but this is getting ridiculous. Just hope he makes the change at half time so we have some real class and playmaking talent in CMF. We need to get 3 points from this one!!

Bruce is very close to the back 3 we need him or Fathi preferrbly more advanced to pressure them and to start the plays with Boyd and Gedo.

Wouldn't mind seeing Fathi for Meyler if Bruce is so keen on keeping it tight, Meyler's passing has been really poor so far.
It's a dire game, exactly what you'd expect from Burnley away on Sky. Bruce has done a decent job defensively, but we sacrifice any attacking threat from midfield with him in the middle. I'm not sure if Bruce sees not losing as being more important than winning, but they're very beatable, I'd rather see us have a bit more of a go.
