So here are the remaining nine fixtures for the season, which games do you think we can take points from? Wolves V Bristol City Derby V Bristol City Bristol City V Sheff Wed Burnley V Bristol City Bristol City V Bolton Bristol City V Birmingham Hull V Bristol City Bristol City V Huddersfield Charlton V Bristol City Here are my predictions: Wolves V Bristol City - Win Derby V Bristol City - Win Bristol City V Sheff Wed - Win Burnley V Bristol City -Win Bristol City V Bolton - Loss Bristol City V Birmingham - Loss Hull V Bristol City - Loss Bristol City V Huddersfield - Win Charlton V Bristol City - Draw 5 wins, 1 draw, and 3 losses = 55 total points for the season! I reckon we will need at least 53 points to stay up! It's going to be so close!
Wolves V Bristol City - Win* Derby V Bristol City - Draw* Bristol City V Sheff Wed - Win Burnley V Bristol City -Draw Bristol City V Bolton - Draw Bristol City V Birmingham - Draw Hull V Bristol City - Loss Bristol City V Huddersfield - Win Charlton V Bristol City - Draw 14 points = 53. But * above, I'm being very optimistic for an old pessimist like me. I think we'll get 50 or 51 points which I believe will be enough.
Wolves V Bristol City - Win* Derby V Bristol City - Draw* Bristol City V Sheff Wed - Win Burnley V Bristol City -Draw Bristol City V Bolton - Win Bristol City V Birmingham - Win Hull V Bristol City - Loss Bristol City V Huddersfield - Win Charlton V Bristol City - Draw 17 points but then I'm an optimestic pessamist I expect things to go wrong but hope they don't and I'm counting on the S O'D effect to keep the players thinking and playing better plus it wouldn't surprise me too much if we got something from Hull.
Wolves Loss Derby Draw Wednesday Win Burnley Draw Bolton Loss Brum Win Hull Loss Huddersfield Win Charlton Win 14 Points. So 53. We'll do well to get 53 imo
Wolves V Bristol City - lose Derby V Bristol City - lose Bristol City V Sheff Wed - Win Burnley V Bristol City -Draw Bristol City V Bolton - Win Bristol City V Birmingham - Win Hull V Bristol City - Loss Bristol City V Huddersfield - Win Charlton V Bristol City - lose 13 points - 52 in total might not be enough this season

Thanks poshminx, makes for an interesting read... As unpleasant as it is to be in this position, at least it's a bit of excitement, and see's our clubs fighting for something. I'd prefer it was playoff place mind you.
Or Scrapping and beating Cardiff for the title that would be even better never mind better things lie around the corner next season things will be better
Oddly enough its the games that you expect to win that there is more pressure and more likely that you will lose them. Did you expect to beat Middlesborough ironically probably yes, but in the real football world it should have been no! However you came away with the spoils deservably. I would be concerned firstly with your five away games, as at home (4 games left) you appear capable of beating anyone. Nip and tuck COR
I was not bothered about Middlesbororgh for some reason I felt confident that we would win that one. Brighton last week I was worried. It's strange that Barnsley beat them tonight, I know results are down to us but it's such a weird season with the bottom three getting some wins at the same time that we could end up with the teams a few points above us all slipping into the final three places. Wolves I think won't get out of it regardless of whether they beat us or not, Ipswich I don't know might just escape but we are all closing in on Millwall who you would of thought were definetly safe 6-8 games ago.
Agree Rodders you def have enough games and quality to get out of trouble, what on earth is wrong with Wolves cannot buy a win except vs Millwall whose last win was vs guess who middlesborough 2-1. At the moment who goes down is anyones guess its tighter than a **** in the bottom half of your league,I suppose the positive spin is with O driscoll and a re invigorated organised team and whilst no one wants to fight off relegation its exiting in a perverse sort of way if you cannot fight for promo then relegation gives you something to talk about (as long as its not down to the final game of the season) at least you have something to turn up for on the weekend, whereas under Mcinnes the trapdoor was open so wide you were already planning visits to Yeovil Crawley and Stevenage. True enough as you proir to John Ward were looking up map books to find the way back to Twerton Park(if they managed to get promoted via the playoffs) and just where are Forest Green Rovers?
I think it's near impossible to gauge how we'll play. On one hand, our team were near incapable of blocking shots from raining down on our goal, and on the other we're able to get the ball around the park, can dictate a game and can finish our chances. Trying to guess what Bristol City side will turn up is the tricky task. On our good days we can see some of the very optimistic results we see on this thread, but on our bad days we'll get trounced by any of these teams.
We can win all of them will prob not but we is likely to be able to get out of the deep end if we carry on playing the way we are
My predictions Wolves v City....Draw Derby v City....Lose City v Sheff Wed...Win Burnley v City....Lose City v Bolton....Win City V Birmingham....Draw Hull v City....Lose City v Huddersfield....Win Charlton v City....Draw 51 Points is my prediction, hope i'm wrong, hope i'm very wrong.
Wolves V Bristol City -draw Derby V Bristol City-lose Bristol City V Sheff Wed-win Burnley V Bristol City-lose Bristol City V Bolton-lose Bristol City V Birmingham-draw Hull V Bristol City-lose Bristol City V Huddersfield-win Charlton V Bristol City-lose I really do not see that keeping us up. 8 points more is not going to be enough. I just hope i am proven wrong:
