I was just toying with going as well. My first away of the season was Southamption so I figured I must be a lucky mascot!

Won't be difficult to get in the home end if you still want to go.

I would have loved to have gone to this and sat in the Villa end but in Ireland sadly, should be a great game.

Villa seem a lot better away than at home so I think you guys have a great chance, perhaps suits your flair players like Hoilett, Taarabt, Remy, Townsend etc more

02 (I think) offer cheap tickets on o2 experience. You can normally pick up tickets for £10-£15. Villa never sell out and if you sit in Trinity Road stand you'll still get a fantastic view of the QPR support.

Reckon a few Rangers will have to go in the home end for this game.
Agree with you DL we need to take the game to them as they are nervous at home. Don't want to go there, sit back and watch them attack all game. Lets make them worry about us.

Do we have the best away support in the league relative to our average home gate attendance?

It seems we regulary take 2,500 to 3,500 away depending on seating allowances and bearing in mind our core home support has always been around the 10,000 to 12,000 mark we must be one of the best teams out there for away days.

They are doing a 4 for £44 deal in the home end which I assume is two adults and two kids, would be worth doing for a family.

Their fans get on their back if they concede and thats why they arent good at home, the 1st goal is crucial here.

Samba on set pieces will be huge. Villa are a big threat with them from Benteke and Villa have conceded their fair share themselves.

    Ok Staines.

Trying to finalise arrangements. Defo two of us going on the ferry and possibly 4. Waiting for 2 others to confirm. We have two match tickets in the QPR end. The other two (1 a Villa fan) will have to go in the Villa end.

We can win if Samba does a job on him, they have no threat besides him.

    Ahhhh ok Staines.

There are 3 of us going to the Everton match from Dublin and possibly another couple more coming up from London.

No sign of the tickets going on sale yet.

I would say Weimann too. When Weimann doesn't play Benteke is pretty average. If the two play and they click they are a dangerous pairing, as Liverpool and Everton found out. If M'Bia does a job on Weimann and Samba on Benteke I think you'll win all your other individual battles and win the game by a couple to be honest.
