Where there's muck (oops) oil, there's money, and where there's money there's corruption. A sad fact of life.

It'll just make them hate us more, as whoever wins now knows we didn't want them.

Seems utterly pointless, Blatter wont give a ****, just one less association to vote against him.

Seems he's come out in his usual style trying to ridicule us as he did Ireland, how can the FA not "decide" between just two candidates, he knows fine well we're abstaining becauses of corruption, not through indecision.

Blatter is a ****. He won't care, he is getting all of his other bum boys like Platini to keep blowing his shrivelled cock. The other one, bin boy, another one to stab us in the back. **** the lot of them.

Brazil - Prostitutues, gangs, STDs, muggings, FIFA say let's host a world cup there.
Russia - Football stadiums spread over thousands of miles, one way out at sea. Good bid though, but wasn't as good as the opponents and only got it because they didn't want us to get it.
Qatar - **** sake, death after death in that heat! Arrest after arrest for going against their laws. Not fan friendly at all!! ****ing stupid!
2026? Nigeria? Iraq? North Korea? Honduras? Wouldn't surprise me. If they have money and it's a stupid bid, they'll get it!

We weren't even bidding on the world cup bid that Qatar was in, so why shouldn't we vote?

If it was the Russian one (which was probably fixed as well) then I could understand it.

All though it does look like sour grapes from us, someone had to say something. It's the principle of it, why the **** should we let it go to the highest bidder. It should be who can best support the World cup, it's just another big sham to let some ****er to get rich off of the true supporters of football.

It does appear to be a bit of sour grapes but I don't think the other guy is anymore less bent than Blatter. FIFA said they wanted the World Cup be hosted by a country that hadn't hosted it so why wasn't the Australia bid accepted? It would have been in their winter so it wouldn't have heat issues that will be a problem in Qatar, they already have good stadiums in place, they don't have stupid Shia laws preventing everything from drinking to public shows of affection. Basically Qatar bought the World Cup.

Rep defo, but Sunderland weren't in the running though. Even Stadium:MK got in before them, I think.
