Look like we could be taking our biggest following away to wolves. 2800 reds on the march that would be a huge lift to the players. Certainly going to be the biggest following away from home this season. Big big six pointer is this one.
Who told you that, I was just told 100 left going back on sale tomorrow morning on OTIB, But someone told me yesterday there were more coming. How good is your source??
The club has been allocated 1,634 tickets. The game is all-ticket for away fans.* What Is It Like For Visiting Supporters?Away fans*are normally housed*on one side of the upper tier of the new Stan Cullis Stand,*where around*1,500 fans can be accommodated. For games where there is a larger away following, then the away fans are not given an 'end' as such, but are instead housed in the lower tier of the Steve Bull Stand along the side of the pitch. Up to 3,200 away supporters can be housed in this area. Fans in this stand are sat quite far back from the playing area, which gives the illusion that the pitch is larger than at most other grounds. David London a visiting Crystal Palace fan adds; 'Views are excellent from the front of the Stan*Cullis Stand*away*section, although if you are at the top then it's all a bit distant. It's a lot of steps up to the upper tier and when you get to the top puffing and blowing a friendly stward tells you that you should have asked to use the lift!'The facilities are fine, including the catering, serving a range of pies including; Steak, Rogan Josh, Potato & Meat, Vegetable, Cheese & Onion*(all £3), Cornish Pasty (£3), Sausage Rolls (£3) Hot Dogs*(£3.50), 1/4 pound*Burgers Or*Cheeseburgers*(£3.50), Chicken Burgers (£4.50), Baked Potatoes (£3), Chicken Wraps (£3) and Chips (£2.50).Musical delights at the ground include just before kick off, 'Hi, Ho, Silver Lining' with the crowd singing 'Hi, Ho, Wolverhampton!' On one visit I got talking to a couple of Wolves fans on the train up to Wolverhampton and they suggested going for a drink in the city centre before the game which I did. I had quite an enjoyable time and they even took me right up to the away supporters entrance, shook my hand and wished me luck! very hospitable. I personally did not experience any problems*on my visits, but*I have received a number of reports of others that have not been so lucky.*It is strongly advised that colours are kept covered around the ground and city centre(and that goes for your cars too ).ALLOCATION
just to clarify a few points made above its not Wolves not wanting 3000 of you there Wolves offer the lower steve bull (actual capacity now for away fans is 2600 not 3200 due to 1 block being demoslished as the new stand overlaps it and segregation, ie the back row being netted off etc) OR 1700 (approx) in the Stan Cullis corner (located in both upper and lower tier) which is what you've got Its Bristol City who chose to take up the lower allocation nothing to do with Wolves. Me personally I'd prefer if they gave you the bigger allocation and any teams that sold that out give them the lower as well (not like we need the seats)
Thanks for the advice, the guy i spoke with on the phone checked with management they said they have not asked for more tickets. crazy when fans want to go and space is available.
ironically I just had a look on our site and the steve bull lower (where you would have been if you had the bigger allocation) is not on sale online. Before you get your hopes up, it maybe that there just using that for community tickets (kids groups and that) or leaving it shut completely. Theyve done both this season (although only tended to shut it completely for night games) I see no reason why they couldnt offer you more tickets in there, the entrances to that are next to where you'll be going in anyway so not anymore difficul for policing. They wont though because our club is run by idiots from top to bottom!!
seems many are doing a leeds, our club should be asking for a further allocation. bloody stupid a huge huge game.
Gold is a colour mate, but some claim it's not. Like black and white are technically not a colour they are shades
No its not Gold is a metal of which some shades of yellow or orange (to keep Rod happy) are refered to. Gold is not a colour
