I am actually sorry if we do take away Danny Graham from you, I know you haven't accepted a bid yet but there is a strong possibility you will. He has been great for you and it feels mean stealing a clubs best player but oh well. This doesn't mean I don't want him though
Don't be sorry... Just double your bid!! I'd be extremely surprised if we accept this first bid!! We all think he will leave - so we just want the right deal for us and for him
8 million and he's all yours. With all that money washing around your club, that figure shouldn't be a problem. You will not regret it.
You should be more concerned about your own problems. Rumour is that your big money men are setting a wage cap and all your mercenaries will be heading out. Along with very little money to spend and Colin has got the hump and is going to jump ship - tapped up by the dildo boys I hear! So if you are going after DG, better had put in a decent bid quick otherwise you will get left in the rush...poor little Steptoes
Someone wrote on one of our other forums that he has a clause in his contract allowing him to speak to prem clubs if a ã2.5m offer comes in. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I think it would be great value if we could get him but I can't believe someone like Newcastle, Villa etc wouldn't take a punt if they could get him for that.
Seeing as how he quite recently renewed his contract sometime earlier this year.....I'd be hugely surprised/disappointed in the board if there was a clause meaning he could leave for ã2.5m
I for one will be looking at DG's twitter with baited breath to see what he has to say. I for one wish him the best of luck where ever he goes and im sure i speak for everyone when i say he is more than welcome at the vic!!
To be serious.... If he goes for anything less than 5 million then that's all I need to know about Dasani.
Great bloke Great player , Best of luck to him wherever he ends up!(but not against us) Just hope we get more than 2.5m If CMS is 3m then DG must be worth 5M at least!
If QPR had offered ã5m, and we did have a ã2.5m clause, we would be obliged to accept the offer, but would we be obliged to tell them that they could have him for ã2.5m? Clubs don't publicise these sorts of clauses in advance, so I suspect that they're trying their luck. As rich as Bernie, Flavio etc are, they're businessmen through and through. It is at least comforting to know that ã2.5m is considered the derisory floor. That's about ã1.5m more than the Tommy Smith "negotiations" started at.
one of the Talksport presenters said ã2.5m was about right coz DG is probably a one season wonder! Grrr!
Wouldn't get angry over that - it just shows what a sh**e show it is and what sh**e, know-nothing presenters they are
i like TS in the afternoons, but i refuse to listen to the sexist bigots between 10 and 1! That's XFM time lol
