Are you guys serious ? Saviola that played for barca and real madrid and currently at Benfica . Very good player ( well was anyway ). Aged 30 so not right over the hill. One year loan could be a nice coup.
You guys ever seen any world football at all??? Saviola is absolute quality... Played at Real and Barca has god knows how many caps for the Argies. Small and skillfull a bit like Kun Aguero (dont tell me you have never heard of him either) at Atletico.

He's reported to be on about ã27K a week at Benfica, with our tax system i guess he would be looking for more, again is this do-able for us? It might be viable on a loan, but with a transfer fee as well as a 2 year contract - i have my doubts. Has always scored goals though, but he is ****ing tiny, not sure he is warnocks sort of player and would need to play with a big man up front in the prem as part of a 2 man attack, is this the way we are going to play?
I think he would be perfect as one of the 3 in behind a target man in 4-3-3. 27k is do-able imo, as is the reported ã2m fee. A player who has played at the highest level and for some of the greatest club sides. A far better option than Cole (90k a week?????).
