http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/norwich--0-0-southampton-mauricio-1754832? Bully off? Southampton wait on FA decision over 'ref-mobbing' in Norwich draw DTLW
The report is laughable... "First Gaston Ramirez panicked and failed with an attempted lob" ... panicked? Really? And it was a good save too.
Surely the Mirror is the sort of rag that spreads the rumour Pochettino can't speak a word of English? In which case we're fine, no way Pochettino could have been arguing with the ref when he couldn't say a word to him.
Lewis hates us anyway. He writes crap reports about us, and he did that interview with Alex Chamberlain back a couple of years.
Just saw he even thought Fox was playing? And didn't even give Ramirez or Lallana a rating?. How ****ing bad is this article.
Get used to it. Due to Cortese refusing to bend over for the papers we are going to have a lot of negative tripe written about our club, by those who know nothing about the running of our club and the way we go about our business. Take it with a pinch of salt and realise the media are starting to worry about 'that little South Coast club'.
Yep, that is good advice, we should get used to it because we made a few enemies on the road to Premier League salvation. Hope Nic has some thick skin, because its going to come in handy.
How can you call that journalism, it just reads as though it is a bitter opinion piece from an amateur blog made by a teenager.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4834886/Artur-Boruc-saves-a-point.html The Suns report on the match. Seems a lot more favourable than the mirrors and says we will stay up playing like that. Do you think the "exclusive" the Sun had on the Barcelona trip has any bearing on the way the game is reported in both papers? Not just for this game but generally as well.
Shaw fouled earlier, so in this case it did even out. None of it matters as Boruc saved (and gave us something good to talk about). Without that penalty save, I suspect we would have been far more negative about this match.
Mauricio should not have gone onto pitch, especially as it was pointless, but he was calm and kept his hands to himself. His only sign of dissent was waving his arm in irritation as he left. If there is a hearing, he should smile and look innocent. If Clattenburg had been shot through the forehead, I would not convict Mauricio if he smiled at me even with TV evidence and GSR on his hands.
What a vindictive, idiotic attempt at journalism. Is this guy on Twitter? Does anyone else think that some of the approach and reporting on Mauricio has been borderline racist?
@MirrorDarren, can't believe he has almost 60k followers. The most pathetic article I've read, also forgets about the fouls in the build up to the penalty..all i know is if Pochettino gets a bigger fine/ban than Holloway then the FA will be getting an ear full. At most Pochettino will get a fine for going towards the ref, but that is all he has warranted.
