Is it wrong that I am growing to like Liverpool?

Discussion in 'Liverpool' started by District Line, Mar 10, 2013.

  1. As many on here know, I'm from Notts (actually from Mansfield which was great a couple of months back <whistle>) and therefore want to see Nottm Forest get back into the Premier League. However, despite the obvious bonus of getting a shed load of money (goes up next season too due to the new TV deal about to start), it would be particularly great for Forest to go up this season, they simply do not have the team, never mind a capable squad.

Can't say I want to see QPR stay up. I did like QPR (from the days of Les Ferdinand and Trevor 'a can score a overhead kick from eighteen yards' Sinclair) and was pleased to see them get promoted and survived last season, but their spending this season is ridiculous and I think going down would be what they deserve. Harsh on the fans though, I'd feel sorry for them <ok>

One of the more humourous threads I've come across; a "love fest" between Chelsea and Liverpool fans. Glad you wnat my club to stay up DL!! Next we'll have a "love fest" between Chelsea and West Ham!!

  3. TBH, I can't see there being too many football fans that don't want Southampton to survive! Only way my mind would change is if its somehow between you and West Ham, I'd want them to stay up to activate the buy clause in the Andy Carroll deal <laugh>

If I could pick any three clubs to get relegated it would be Stoke, QPR, and Stoke again. (I know Stoke isn't going down)

I despise Stoke's anti football and cheating ways. Pulis is both a wannabe-thug and a cap wearing redneck.

QPR doesn't bother me... just think it would be funny for them to go down.

I want Wigan to stay up... a Northern team and the only top flight English club never to be relegated from the top flight. Plus I qualified for CL in a multi player online league with them... so they're special to me.

I would say the same thing... However, I thought that when Newcastle were relegated, and lost Duff, Martins, and some other guy (I think he had said something about seeing them through relegation or something, or was that Duff?) that was injured more than he was healthy. Plays for Stoke or something...

Anyway, Newcastle went down and came back up with like over 100 points or something ridiculous. Promoted with like 6 games to go too. So... Who knows?

Once again Dickhead Line, is showcasing his obsession with Man Utd. Now he is befriending our biggest rivals, even having a sly dig at us in the process.

You scousers should actually find his outstretched arm as an insult, as the only reason he now 'likes' you is because he doesn't see you as a threat anymore.

If you were the team that knocked Chelsea out of Europe 2 years on the trot, when Rafa out smarted 'the special one' or the team that finished above them in the league, on occasions, he would despise you:biggrin:

You post on every Chelsea thread and come over to the Liverpool board and follow me yet it's me that's obsessed? <laugh>

If I think Liverpool will be top 4 next season and will improve under Rodgers wouldn't that suggest I see them as a threat? <doh>

honestly when cheslea won the double i said that redefined their club. Sure they won lots before but a double is special. then of course they finally "bought" the champions league by playing exactly how we were accused of playing by them which was quite ironic.

Overall.... I don't mind chelsea... some things like the wholesale robbery of the torres banner, shankley gates et al... plastic blue flags on european nights and the time they bourght that tiny banner to anfield, unfurled it only for it to be upside down where hilarious....

most of all though Martin Broughton was a cheslea fan so in my book chelsea are <ok>
