Good thing about having a Russian wife - Valentine's Day and Mother's Day aren't really celebrated there, so she's avoided the stupid commercialisation bollocks so far. Co-op flowers and Lindor for Valentine's, massage and flowers for women's day (I had a massage too so that was alright) and flowers plus a card Sonya made at nursery tomorrow. Throw in breakfast in bed tomorrow and lots of compliments and she'll be a happy lady.

Footy's already booked in for tomorrow, provided I can convince ITVPlayer I actually live in England...

There was nothing to pay up front, but the monthly instalments have worked out quite high. Tho I do get to meet lots of new people as a result, mostly the delivery men dropping off all the clothes she buys online!

Pork dinner by the ma in law today, really nice. Loads of proper fat as **** crispy crackling.
Worked out well, can now sit down to this massacre of a pub team with a clown manager in peace.

****e game. T'was more a case of who could play worse. Chelsea were all over the place in the first half, looked like they wanted us to win it by half time. Then we spent most of the second half trying to be worse than they had!

    Chicken chasseur, very 1980's..

I had pork chops roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and broccoli last night. All smothered in gravy.

Tonight I shall be mostly having dust.

I thought from about 30 minutes onwards we were better. We just couldn't find our finishing boots until Hazard came on. You seemed to just switch off gradually until Valencia came on and then you really turned awful.

Yeah, said it on another thread that the turning point was Nani going off. Valencia was awful, really really bad.

The worst aspect was that they assumed, preety much to a man, that our superiority would just continue and so did **** all to ram it home. I was watching and thinking we needed a third before half time or this game would change, I've seen it happen before.

I can't believe that some of our posters are turning on RVP on other threads, stunning. Can't be bothered to go into it but if they can't see he is ten times the player Hernandez is they are watching the wrong game.

Sweats, found the Wye Valley brewery pub here in Hereford, called The Barrels.

Home to Butty Back and such like, can feel a few visits there coming up, I'm told it's a cracking boozer.

I know. In spring a round at Belmont and beers in the Barrels will have to be done.

Will require a B&B on your part though.

Breakfast of porridge, blueberries, banana and manuka honey. Spread the word.

    In fact, buy the T shirt;

    http://www.howies.co.uk/mens/clothing/t-shirts/porridge-french-blue.html

For dinner I am having left over cassoulet from last night and I'm undecided about tea. I'm up in Hereford for the next couple of nights and one of those will have a pub tea and the other I'll budget, which to wbe hich though, I don't yet know? Such tension.

Anyone else get a little semi on when Cheltenham comes around? I do, I'm not a massive punter just bet very occasionally but the festival just grips me. Shall no doubt piss away a few quid into the wind over the next few days.
