Nother classic free kick from Cabaye. 6 goals for him now, beaten last season's total.

Interesting subs taking Santon and Tiote off.

Don't think our players have much between their ears. How many high balls into the box do they need to attempt before they grasp that it isn't working...

At least he has taken off the right players this time to be fair to him. I liked the first two, although Marveaux's done nowt so far. Nice to see Campbell have another crack.

Tiote in particular has been garbage. Why we don't start playing Anita more often is beyond me, he deserves a crack of the whip.

I take back what I said about Marveaux. What a killer ball from him, and cool Cisse finish (although if he'd missed that I'd have smashed the laptop against the wall!)

A sublime free kick from Cabaye. For those who have not played the game before or even those who have, I'm sure you'd all agree with me that it takes incredible technique to get the ball over the wall and with enough pace to beat the keeper when you strike a free kick on the edge of the penalty box, and what Cabaye just did was that sort of incredible technique.

And we fought back well after going 0-1 down, glad that we eventually got the 3 pts of course. Hope Campbell continues his development as well

14 corners in that game, and I don/t remember one of them resulting in an attempt on goal (correct me if I'm wrong folks). Thats a pathetic record there.

Whinge over. Totally buzzing that we nicked it, yet another win after coming from behind, looks like we've put that monkey to bed. And we have some further daylight between ourselves and the bottom three- that 9 points now which could come in useful when we play Wigan given we've been so poor away from home. One more win should see us safe now I reckon.

    Get the **** in !

You won't see many better free kicks than that I reckon. Stevie Taylor looked like a bit of a dick bouncing up and down in front of the keeper, dont think it had much to do with the fact that we scored, but Saylors reaction to the goal was quite comical I thought. I had to endure listening to Trevor Francis co-commentating which wound me up no end every time he opened his stupid ****ing mouth. !

Great ball from Marv to pick Cisse out...if you watch the replay from behind Marv, you can see him looking for the gap and waiting before delivering the killer pass...absolute quality.

Great to see Campbell get a few mins. I'd like to see him get more. He only had a few touches today but he looks very composed when he has the ball at his feet I must say.

Shame we didn't get a chance to boo Lil' Mickey as well.

I agree and Alan won't even realise it was a through ball that won the game

Don't think its very fair to be criticising our lack of activity from corners in just that game though mate....we've had bucket loads all season and done nowt from 99% of them.

Quite why Pardew didn't have a word at half time about lumping the ball into the box too close to the keeper is beyond me. I don't think its a massive coincidence that we looked most dangerous today when we played through them and in behind their defence keeping the ball on the deck.

Stoke are just a team full of ****ing knuckle grinders who rely on their physical attributes to get them through games rather than any degree of skill. I hate stoke, I really do. Their football is dreadful to watch, they are an awful awful team and I'm so pleased that we won so that I can say this without it sounding like sour grapes. Ben Arfa would have ripped them to shreds had he played I reckon. !
