If Bale has an off day or prevented from scoring, you win. Simple.

Solid lineup, pretty much expected though so no doubt Spurs will have been able to prepare for it. Hopefully we just have too much ability at the top end for them to handle though...

Liverpool team to face Tottenham Hotspur.

Jones; Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Enrique; Lucas, Gerrard; Downing, Suarez, Coutinho; Sturridge.

SUBS: Gulacsi, Wisdom, Skrtel, Henderson, Allen, Shelvey & Sterling.

    -

First of all, there is no Reina in the 18. Apart from that, it's as expected.

Tottenham Hotspur team to face Liverpool.

Lloris; Walker, Dawson, Vertonghen, Assou-Ekotto; Parker, Livermore; Sigurdsson, Dembele, Bale; Defoe.

SUBS: Friedel, Naughton, Caulker, Gallas, Huddlestone, Carroll & Holtby.

    -

No Lennon in the 18 for Spurs today as AVB goes with a 4-2-3-1 formation. Bale on the left with Sigurdsson on the right and Dembele in the middle who are all just behind Jermain Defoe. No Adebayor for Spurs either...

It's a big miss but Reina looked a bit shakey with Bale's shots in the first leg so if Jones can deal with them you'll be doing well. I do expect him to be targeted though, I think we'll have a lot of long range shots.

Lennon's out for us with Dembele starting out on the right apparently which seems very strange to me. All the more excitement for the game, Lennon has been very good for us all season and losing him is a real blow.

Reckon we'll need more than one goal if we're going to win, not to confident about winning purely because we've won the last two games <laugh> With Lennon out I'm a bit more confident, especially if Dembele is shifted to the right. Let's just put in a good performance and take the game right to Spurs.

Looking at the Spurs line up it doesn't look like they have much width with Lennon not playing and Bale having taken up a more central role in recent weeks. Dembele, Parker, Livermore & Siggurdson are all central midfielders so you'd think will naturally tuck in leaving room down the wings for us to exploit. On the other hand may get over run in the middle with only Gerrard & Lucas in there.

Need to play like we did in the 2nd half v them earlier in the season and not go 2-0 down inside 10 minutes.
