Well I cant wait for tom, hopefully we bring our scoring boots and keep it closed at the back

What is it with the arrogance of some Spurs fans though? They start doing alright and suddenly they're ****ing world beaters? Arrogant London clubs is what it is

Can you believe that ****ing mong HIAG actually wrote that we will see our european dreams realised through what they achieve? Even as a joke that is absolutely ridiculous

They clearly need to know our European dreams are not getting thrashed 5-0 by Madrid, or leaking 4 goals in one half.
It's funny how they put so much effort to get to the CL, only to get embarrassed in the bigger stage.
 
I'm looking forward to it purely because it seems like an age since we last played! However, we never seem to do well against the spuds, we have just won two in a row and have not won three for????? and Bale is going to tear our defense a new ring hole!

You guys leaked 3 goals in one half in the CL and I doubt you guys are too embarrassed about it :D


On the OP, as much as you guys think we're arrogant we could say you guys are "deluded"(hate using that word). I think it irks your fans that we're the better side at the moment and that manifests itself in trying to belittle our achievements and some of you convincing yourselves that you're better than us. From my experience of your fans you never really believed that we'd finish 4th and above you 3 seasons ago, you thought you were better than us 2 seasons ago and this season and last you thought you'd overtake us again. These are frustrations on our side, no one likes their team to be dismissed(probably why you find HIAG so annoying) and the reason we're so pleased with getting to the CL quarters at a first try is because it's a really good achievement for us, it doesn't have to be something you guys value for us to enjoy it.

Anyway, looking forward to the game tomorrow. Bring it on :emoticon-0165-muscl
 
No idea what's going to happen tomorrow, but I'm looking forward to it.
Spurs are doing well and we seem to be taking some steps in the right direction. Two of the most exciting and watchable players in the prem at the moment on show so let's hope the game lives up to its potential.
 
Its nice to think about a win. We've been playing better lately but we never seem to stay good for long lately.

I do think Jan xfers did change the flavour of the team though. We seem to be better balanced and creative now.

We seem to be taking chances more rather than passing it around the opposition box... we are using the entire other half as an attacking zone instead of jyst the sides of the penalty box inwards.

If we can maintain form against a decent team like Spurs will be a true test ad to whether we're really better now or false dawn.

Good post but im not jealous im sorry to say

Yeah you are good at the min and have made decent buys but, we have in Jan as well. I just dont like HIAGS lack of respect

Like I said, some, not all Spurs fans

We have hit bottom and are trying to rise again and like yourselves, have a decent young manager with fresh ideas

Im glad you've overtook spoilt bastards Chelsea

Most LFC fans have realised where we're at the min though and it irks me when ppl call us deluded, as we're not, at all.

Mate, it's your fans, and to prove a point we have no issue with City OR Chelsea fans as a group in general.

A fair lot of you have become insufferable since getting CL qualification once, 0 humility.

That's why, not because Spurs are doing well, the response to THFC's thread proves that. Some of you are good lads but some of you are unbelievably thick, and I refer to HIAG and those of his ilk where the inaccurate abuse of Liverpool and players is non stop. It aint just HIAG

The whole Bale thing has been caused by the unequal treatment of two players that dive because one is South American.


So, really, if we don't seem to have any patience for Spurs fans it is because of, yeah that's right, Spurs fans.

I can say for certain there have been positive Spurs threads on here, not so at your end, just abuse lies and slagging off constantly in your mouser thread and references to Liverpool in many other threads.

One might want to get one's facts right before posting a large paragraph like that<whistle>

And Yeah, time for the bollox talk to be over, LETS GET IT ON<ok>
 
Don't really understand the hype and cocky Ness from spurs fans. Not got any history and a bit of a nothing club on the world stage. Everton qualified for the champs league once and were equally embarrassing.
As for Bale, he is doing ok for a few good games, but the Welsh monkey is still in the shadow of rvp and Suarez, yet supposedly better.
Who knows, spurs might keep it up for a while and class top 4 a trophy like arsenal. It will get harder when that becomes just the top 3 though to qualify. With current poor performances and spurs failing if they qualify, we will lose a place sadly.

See it's posts like these that make it look like you look down at spurs because of what you have achieved in the past instead of what you are achieving at the moment. Yes our history might not be full of trophies like yours but to just dismiss it as not existing makes it appear you think only liverpool have any history that's worth anything.

Then saying we were equally as embarassing in the cl as everton when we got to the quarter finals and they were knocked out in the qualifiers. You may think getting that far is nothing as you've won it before but what would you realistically expect from us that season for it not to be embarassing? You've already assumed we'll fail in the cl if we qualify next season so you probably think we'll be failing no matter how far we progress. I'm just assuming here but I think you're dissmissing our chances of doing well because you think your club would do better but that would be ignoring the relative league positions over the last 4 years.

You also belittle us for aiming to finish in the top 4. Unless you think we ever had a chance of winning the league then that's just being realistic. What's the point expecting too much and being disappointed every time. You would also be sad if we lost a cl place so surely you're aiming for the same thing??

And you dismiss bale as being ok just for a few good games and being in the shadow of suarez when ignoring bale has won spurs a lot more points this season than suarez has. Winning your team points is exactly what players are paid to do. I'm not saying bale is definitely better but to pass him off as just having a few ok games is clearly just downplaying his ability just for the sake of it.

No they didn't. Yes they finished fourth but they lost against Villareal (?) in a third round qualifier <laugh>

You sound like a snivelling little boy complaining to his mother that a bad boy said something nasty to him and therefore he is being bullied. It's a football forum for goodness sake.!

Yes Redmen do generally look down on Spuds because of the way that they act (in terms of posting). Comparatively you do have very little history in terms of titles and trophies. You then go on to mix league and CL performance. Any side with CL experience can tell you that performance in one is no guarantee in the other - ask United, Chelsea and Arsenal about that!

Of course we belittle the extent of your aims - because they are not our aims. If you actually looked at the statements made by our owners and our manager about the AIMS for our club then you would understand that 4th spot is for US not good enough!

The flaw with your final paragraph is that you merely highlight that just how dependant upon 1 player that you really are. We truly believe that Suarez is the better player of the 2 as he has more to offer.

Finaly answer this question for yourself. IF Spurs were really a target for our ire then why do we not have a 'stickied' thread here similar to your Mouser Watch?
