About anything relating to Mr H but how on earth can he think Howson is better than Fox and how on earth did he persist with Howson for the whole match Our midfield was dire Also cannot understand Martin over Whittaker who offers far more attacking options That said it was a cold day rubbish match 3 shots from the home team ! Followed by a terrible drive home on untreated roads Time for a beer and hope we can do better next week Already forgotten and ready to move on OTBC!
I've mentioned it elsewhere, but I just don't see what Fox has to do to get a game. Howson was very poor in possession all game.
Well I was just pointing out that although disappointed i won't dwell on it Football ain't that important so it never troubles me for for long when we play dire junk and i am sure we will be better next time
Let people express their opinion. You seem incredibly keen on stemming people's opinions on stemming people's opinions sometimes!
Fox had a chance to shine against LUTON, you know that conference side, he was atrocious, just kept passing the ball back to the centre backs who then hoofed it forward. Maybe that answers your question?
That just about sums it up. Unfortunatly I'm not quite as forgiving as you Jarrold, that's not the first game I've sat through this season where I've almost nodded off. A home team playing in front of a full stadium, against a team lower than us in the division and we record 3 shots in the whole game, one every 30 minutes on average. I for one am getting a bit bored reading and listening to Chris Hughton's same old comments every week, it's up to him to improve it, not the fans or anyone else, but we keep getting the same old stuff week after week after week.
Hi Cromer, no I don't, I can't remember seeing him have a good game for us. So just to clear that up, you said that I DIDN'T.
Same old comments? It was the same under Lambert, win, lose or draw. 'Brilliant.'thought the guys were great.' etc Some people have really short memories!
But you were pointing out how "atrocious" Fox was (your word, not mine ) against Luton in a previous post? Fox was on the bench and the only player - in Tettey's enforced absence, who might have made a difference and STILL Hughton persists with a guy whose head is not quite right, who hasn't passed to a yellow shirt all afternoon, and who has been caught in possession about six times? WTF??
The difference being the team generally put in a good performance. Unlike the present bilge which has Hughtons personality stamped all over it. I think if your so willing to forget todays game and performance (along with the countless others) in exchange for a solitary point then I'd say you are the one with the short memory.
No I don't have a short memory Carla, if you on this forum last year you would have seen me writing the same things about Lambert.
Cromer, I NEVER MENTIONED HOWSON!!! You're putting words on here and attributing them to me that I never wrote! Yes FOX was atrocious against Luton, they are my words. I agree with you however about Howson he was **** today and has been in most games I've seen him in, but then so was FOX. Around about that time a lot of fans were clamouring for Fox to be recalled, he was and failed, that's all I was saying. While we're on the subject of the midfield, what did you make of Hoolahan's performance today?
Surprised - and pleased to see him come on, although sorry to see Pilks go off. After a quiet start, as expected, playing too far wide left, he got progressively more into the game and showed some great touches. One sumptuous first time left foot cross just too close to Boruc. I think we can mainly thank Bunn and Turner for our 'hard earned' point today. But for them we would probably have lost.
