    Injuries, woodwork, opposition goalkeepers, officials...

We're not getting the rub of the green but we're not making our own luck either.

We look absolutely done in, the last 10 minutes should have been played at a million miles an hour but we need a break, we look shattered.

I fear for Tuesday night, but then again, it'd be typical for us to get a result there.

Oh, and sacking NP would be the worst decision we could ever make.

But saying that, i'm more worried we'll lose Kasper, Knocky and Wood if we don't go up.

I thought u had a goal machine in Wood. Don't all teams play against an opposition goalie.
Injuries occur to all teams. You was praising Nige a few weeks back so on that basis doesn't he need critising for the slide.

I doubt you'd lose Wood, he managed 1 goal in 21 games at WBA in the PL, I think the Championship is his level, he seems to have done much better there in the past. But you are right to be worried about losing Kasper and Knockaert, they're great players.

You shouldn't sack NP, you can still mathematically come top. We also lost to Sheffield Wednesday at home at the turn of the year, it's just the fact that it's come at an important part of the season as opposed to a time when it doesn't matter. If the owners have any sense they'll wait till the end of the season to make any moves or assurances.

Brighton said the same about Wood in lg 1, he is developing all the time. We couldn't afford any of your players if we went up but would love to get Wood and Knocky.

The play-offs are going to be wide open this year..........

I think you can look at Nigel today in terms of not freshening the squad up and also the fact he played Kane on the wing.

But Hull fans are desperate for us to blame him, but there are 11+3 others who have the job to do. He's not setting them up to play poorly, they have to perform and right now they're not. We've got a young side and we need a few experienced heads to steady the ship.

A few weeks back Nigel had the team playing the way he tried to, the players responded and we won 5 in 5. We're in a ditch and we need pulling out. Personally I think we really miss Matty James (cue CG <ok> <laugh>).

The gaffer really does have what it takes. We've been unlucky recently and things are not going our way.

At the end of the day, we're 5th with a game in hand (albeit against runaway leaders) and we're in a much better position than we were last season. We'd both have snapped the hands off anyone who could guarantee this position at the start of the season.

I'm not the type to get too low when we lose (true i'm the type to get too high when we win).

Stability is the key for us and this young side (starting XI average age of 22) can only get better. I truly believe that losing the management team (we'd lose them all, its the way they go about business. If one goes they all do) would be detrimental to losing a play-off place and would see us back at the bottom of the ladder.

I've said it before and i'll say it again. See you at Wembley. But I won't be buying you a pint <laugh> My Swansea supporting mate spent 6 quid on one a couple of weeks ago <yikes>

The way Forest & Bolton are going, Leicester will have to be very careful no to drop out of the top 6 altogether.

Surely Nigel should have bought or loaned some older heads in the Jan window. I do remember you laughing at how you was smugly laughing at how Nige had everything sorted by getting in Wood early. By the way I am not having a go at you or other leicester fans. I firmly believe he never believes he is wrong. He bored me to tears (both on + off the pitch) when he was at Hull and I was glad he went. I do want him to be sacked because of the smug way he left Hull. Good luck against the taffs. Please do not let Billy see you Jimmy davies into the play-offs. i hate him more than Pearson.

Well we did do the right thing in buying Wood early and we were right to be smug about it because it saw us shoot up the league.

Who is to say we didn't look at more experienced players?

Also its all good to say that in the benefit of hindsight but when the squad was winning games in Jan we didn't need that experienced type of player.

I'd like to see someone who has been there and done it in the PL come and lead from the midfield. Have no idea where to start looking though.

Serious question, has Pearson got the ability to successfully manage someone who's 'been there and done it'?

Maybe I have it wrong but I get the impression that he struggles with the more experienced pros, I get the impression that he is a 'his way or the highway' kind of manager, and obviously that won't always go down well with established senior pros.

    Disagree with this completely.

He might prefer to develop players because I think he cares more about the clubs future in the long term.

and a 'his way or the highway' attitude is a necessity for a manager. The last thing we want is the players/owners managing the team. Just look at Chelsea.

Ok, so has he actually brought in any senior pros?

Surely a first team squad with an average age of, I think I saw posted elsewhere 22, is going to hit the wall at some point, possibly now. Maybe that's what happened with us last year, after all many of the signings were Pearsons, and young lads, and it seems more than sheer coincidence that, even though Pearson was no longer with us at this point, we seemed to lose our way at around the same point in the campaign.

Mere coincidence or a case of Pearson not being able to successfully manage older pros, preferring to fill the squad with young lads?

Pearson has proven he can manage older pros. You're just talking out your arse, surprisingly.

Ah right, but this season - after 'proving he can manage older pros' - he decides to go down the young lad route, and watch it blow up in his face, at the business end?

    ****ing genius <doh>

He's also proven he can manage young players too, you ****ing mong.

Our side would sell on for 3/4 times what Nige paid for them. He was brought in to rebuild what Sven did. He's done a ****ing magnificent job of it.

A mate of mine used to play for Hull City.

In fact, he was the first player ever, to captain the same team through all four divisions.

He thinks Nigel is a complete arsehole.

Wasn't he brought in to get promotion? He seems to be doing an arse of that job when it really matters ...

Bit of a difference between being the captain and working in the ticket office. <laugh>

    Personal insults? I'm impressed <laugh>

'Brought in to rebuild what Sven did'? Really? I was always under the impression that he was brought in to get you promoted, and, at the moment, he doesn't appear to be doing a '****ing magnificent job of that' - just saying <ok>
