Nah. We'll play Hooiveld for ****s and giggles, and he'll turn his brain off in the last second for a Le Fondre winner.
Just got home and put on SSN, and apparently there were some talking points! Can't be bothered to read through all this thread, but with no knowledge of how the game actually went, I'm saying a point is alright in a hard away game.
In some ways, not in others. If they didn't have a last minute penalty, a point would have been terrible for us, as it is, it's a relief. However, would have taken a point at the start so.. all good?
This is a mystery to me too, the BBC's figures always vary wildly and are almost without fail always wrong. Quite baffling.
Summary: We had 15 shots, they had 4. We were wasteful and should have scored a hatful. Though they had a penalty saved by Boruc in injury time so in a way we're lucky to even get a point...
They once credited Papa Waigo for a Dan Harding goal. Not much difference, I suppose, except one is black and the other is white and blonde.
Just seen that the team and MP approached the ref after the game has finished. Shows how the team reflects the manager. This team would have been calm under Nigel, but Mauricio has them wound up.
Looking at the stats, Hooiveld had a great game! 3 tackles, all successful, 8 headers won out of 10, and 6 interceptions. Also joint most clearances with Fonte (6). Funny old game.
I remember when Sky said Papa Waigo had scored a Saints penalty when Ian Thomas-Moore had scored for Tranmere from a penalty.
Your spouting crap and smiling....Hooiveld was superb today. As long as Fox is no where near Jos he's okay. I will repeat....We will out ****e Reading's defence....we must win...we WILL win.
Don't give up on Liverpool or Chelsea...I can see at least one point in those 2 games. We will creep along and be safe before the last game.
Boruc asked about the save: "I did my homework on Grant Holt and he was easy for me." please log in to view this image
If we can get one point from these next two, and then follow it up with three points away to Reading, we'll be a in decent position going into the final six games - 32 points from 32 games. Given who we play in our final six games, I would back us to survive from there.
