Justice probably done there as sounded debatable A point is more valuable to us than saints chaps, that's the important thing
We deserved to get beaten today. Had we scored what was by all accounts a very dubious penalty then it would have been very harsh on Southampton. Lets just be thankful that Holt was not given a second yellow for diving. We'd be missing him for the next game then.
I can honestly say that I don't give a rats arse what anyone says about "purely surviving" this season - it's ****ing horrible to watch. I am really, really annoyed with what is happening on the pitch now
I don't know which is duller on Match of the Day, us or Alan Shearer. I am getting severely hacked off with Hughton's anti-football, I am beginning to despise him.
there seemed to be a complete lack of fight. any 50/50, or even 60/40, our players just backed away and allowed Saints to take possession. and as for the quality of the passing.
Holt always seems to go left with his penalties can remember only one where he went down the middle. Horrible performance though the let a team who has the worst away defensive record and below you in the league dominate you that much but us cling on isn't good at all. Bring back fox and wes permanently.
We are actually an embarrassment. Say what you want but I won't be convinced otherwise. Absolutely horrid team to watch and I'm fast losing interest in everything NCFC.
I am completely astounded how Jonny Howson continually - in Tettey's absence, gets selected ahead of David Fox. He's NOT a holding midfielder and looks more out of his depth trying to do that role with every game he plays. Gave possession back to Saints with virtually every touch today. Lucky we weren't made to pay.
Most on here tonight agree 100% but you can bet there will be another set who will fully endorse it because we will be in the PL next season. If that's what being in the PL is all about for us then I would rather not watch. I can see me having the night off next Saturday because watching that every week is bloody painful.
I think we'll go down. And we deserve to playing that kind of anti-football. We almost fluked a win but that would have been a travesty. Our one chance is to beat Reading in the home game and scrape a couple of draws. But even against Reading we'll play to draw 0-0.
if i thought it was just an emergency measure, with immediate plans to buy players and change tactics to make us an exciting team to watch, i think i can tolerate this dross till the end of the season. I worry we will show very little change next season though.
