Agreed, though I'd be tempted to simply lift Maya. I understand the idea -- Norwich has a very big front line, and Clyne's a midget -- but if the net result is giving them the ball over and over in attacking positions, it's more harm than help.
I don't think we can complain too much about being hard done by, Clattenberg definitely could have given them a penalty for us dragging Holt (i think?) down in the box
Strongly disagree, I think he's one of the best there is in England. He kept control of Spurs v Arsenal so well, though I'm sure he is prone to the odd mistake.
Fair enough, opinions are opinions, but I have never been to a game with him in charge where I haven't come away thinking he's a ****er
Yoshida's passing is terrible. Anything more than 10 yards is wasted. With him on the right we cannot go down that side offensively.
Yoshida's having a nightmare, hope Clyne is able to play 45 minutes. Give him some platform shoes. Apart from that we've looked decent I think. Lallana is everywhere.
Text from Norwich mate at the game: "Saints have some brains about them. The midfield can pass out of a tight spot like we used to under PL"
Even under 10 yards is a stretch. Takes too long to play it out from the back and gives it to midfielders in uncomfortable positions. He's just not good on the ball.
Yeah, it's one of those games where our attacking players are popping up everywhere...including Schneiderlin, whose gradual push into more and more forward positions will leave him playing striker soon enough.
The stat was no 0-0s between us at Carrow Road, not overall (drew 0-0 in the cup in early 90s at The Dell) and there've been twenty games there since.
