Two laughable decisions from Clattenburg.

I'm not a fan of this working on a Saturday thing. How have we looked in the first half?

 

Reading 1-2 Villa

 

Typical. Lots of attacking possession, but very few good chances.

 

Good. Lots of neat build-up play and their keeper has hade to make a few saves.

 

HALF-TIME: Norwich City 0-0 Southampton

 

We appear to getting the worst of the decisions from the officials, how unusual that is!

 

We really need Clyne on the pitch, I'd take Hooiveld off and move Maya to centre back.

 

So Lallana has been fouled a number of times, not complained once and nothing given. Now the ref gives him a yellow card for having the ball kicked into him? Disappointing.

 

Gaston's tendency to fall over is really starting to get to me now.

 

We looked comfortably the better side in the first 35 minutes, Norwich started to get into it at the end of the half, but they really seem to be playing proper Stoke style hoof ball. Norwich really should have had a penalty by a pull by Shaw (who has Snodgrass in his pocket by the way!), but no way a freekick for a 'handball' by Lallana. At the moment, if we can make some pressure pay and Ramirez can get his range in, this is definitely winnable.

 

They seem to think it was a foul on my stream, certainly had an arm pulling him back then giving him a push after.

 

I thought that Clattenburg was really poor when we played Fulham at home, he gave lots of bizarre decisions both ways, however I don't think he has been too bad today. I think that Ramirez is winding himself up!

 

Clattenburg is an awful ref.

Similar story to last Saturday, decent in possession but not many clear cut chances. Yoshida has been poor. Would 100% rather see Richardson in, he hasn't been given a chance and is a good player IMO. Would definitely offer a lot more going forward than Maya.
