Crocodile or Polar Bear?

    The only solution to this question is a full unbiased investigation. Anyone know where we can get a couple crocs and polar bears?

    If it were Croc vs Human or Polar Bear vs Human then Polar Bear would win hands down. But in Croc vs Polar Bear I honestly think the Croc would win. It hasn't evolved in millions of years for a reason: It hasn't needed to. The croc is totally badass and once the polar was in his jaws it would get completely destroyed.

    I reckon the bear would win but wouldn't get away without a broken leg. Croc would grab hold of it but has nowhere to drag the bear so the bear could pound away at the croc while it's got the bears leg in it's mouth....

    Unfortunatly they don't have one on crocs vs polar bears :( Perhaps we should write to the show

    This reminds me of another debate we were having on a poker forum...... You'll have to ignore the moral ethics here!!

    If you were sealed into an empty room the size of a basketball court with an unknown amount of 5 year olds how many do you think it would take to get you down? You're not wearing any protection except a cricket box (for the important parts obviously!) and there are no weapons but you can use any part of your body to knock them out (fist, elbow, foot, knee etc...)

    We have to take into account the Croc's most effective technique - the Barrel Roll.

    Would this fight be on land? In shallow water? In deep water? In saltwater or freshwater? It would determine the effectiveness of the BR!

    Would the Croc cope with the decreased salinity of freshwater?

    Maybe you guys could have this showdown set up at St James'.

    I just tried Animal Face Off to see if they had done Polar Bear vs Croc but they haven't gotten around to it yet. They've done some good ones mind. Croc vs Great White and Sperm Whale vs Colossal Squid look good.

    At least 15, because they're only 5 so they wouldn't really know how to fight or work together as a group so I'd just plough through em!.. midgets on the other hand..

    That's what I thought at first but then someone pointed out, what if one of them grabbed your leg and got a vicious bite right on the thigh.... would hurt like hell and put one leg out of action for a bit.

    Got so many of these but I'll save them for the summer when there's no football or gossip!

    Depends what the 5 year olds are like. Are we talking rage virus infected ones like on 28 days later or hey bloke we want to jump on you and have a laugh 5 year olds? Makes a big difference to the score!

    I'd love to kick a five year old in the face, and I'm not ****ing joking. If it survived and had brain damage for the rest of its life, that's even better than killing it IMO.

    If there are an unknown amount of 5 year olds then it's not an empty room is it? But i'm gonna be optimistic and say, 40 maybe...

    I reckon loads would be necessary. I don't even want to imagine how many you could injure or maime before one would get a lucky shot that might cause you trouble. Five is just too young to be able to compete with an adult male who is prepared to defend himself. The guilt of the man hurting kids is more likely to make him give in and allow himself to be beaten than anything the kids might do which is how the moral debate comes in i suppose?

    So I reckon three could probably get me down. Grab the first two in my arms and try to stop them from hitting me and then the third would get me with a well placed kick to the knackers.
