I'd have him at that price... gotta be a better bet than Torres!

Excellent news, if it's true. The right sort of signing in my opinion. Young and hungry. Affordable price and affordable wages.

I don't think Watford are in a position to turn down a bid unless there's definite interest from more than one party. I still expect him to go to Newcastle but if we can get him for that price I'd be delighted.

Excellent news if true. Watford will hold out for more though as I'm pretty sure Carlisle get a large chunk of it.

Yeah it should be noted that a bid going in really means nothing if it's not accepted. If we'd bid £5 it would be the same thing. I expect him to go for about £3.5m if indeed he does.

I expect a bidding war. This news must've come from Watford, we have nothing to gain by saying how much we have bid.

Hopefully we get him, still young enough to develop and the boy scores for fun.

Instead of offering 2.5 million, can we offer 3.5 million and Hulse

I don't think we're in a position to buy a proven premier league goalscorer to be honest. Graham would fit our system well and seems quite a grounded lad willing to graft and learn whereas Bothroyd would probably cost about the same and comes across as a bit of a ****er.

Proven goalscorers in the Premier League cost anywhere between £28m (Bent) and £50m (Torres). We are not in the position to buy these guys. Graham would be an excellent addition imo.

    hahaha!

this is good news, not only because graham is a good player, but also it shows we intend on spending a bit.

The thing i'm trying to say is Taarabt has been better than Graham this year, yet we still have doubts over Taarabt.

That would make sense, he is popular there. However, isn't he out of contract?
