If ever everyone involved in this shambolic season has a chance to stand up and be counted, this is it. Rafa, the Management and the players have had the kitchen sink thrown at them this season, and quite rightly. We have been playing pub football almost all year. Man U get turfed out of the CL by a dodgy ref in my opinion, no suprise there. But they have responded as expected, whinging and moaning, abusing all critics, all the things that makes them the media darlings.Their odious drunken manager has been especially vitriolic and sulky. Bullshit surrounding Rooney is everywhere. All typical Utd PR for mine. Sets everything up beautifully for the match. " Utd to thrash Chelsea with a backlash of epic proportions" according to the neutrals at Sky !!!!! Win, lose or draw, it's time to be counted everyone. Got a funny feeling that Rafa WILL go if it's another limp surrender. All in all, for once, something to look forward to.
If they are expected to win so easily the pressure is surely off Chelsea. Though it's a bit late to try start supporting the team now, cos it's united and ye want some bragging rights. I would love a Chelsea win but yer own fans have made a bad situation terribly worse so I don't think this one will be pulled out of the fire. Psych Psych Psych. After that^ you're guaranteed a win
Its easy for anyone to say after the way the 2 teams have performed recently that our boys are in for a hiding on Sunday! It reminds of my early years as a Blue following a side that became known as "the old unpredictables". Losing what was supposed to be an easy game and then the following week hammering a top side! Maybe we can make ourselves respectable again--please God!
Sorry if everyone read into my thread that we're in for a thrashing, I certainly wasn't suggesing that. Only saying it is a perfect time for everyone to show what we've got. I expect a good showing, we seen to step up for harder games. Just wan't 100% effort and good team selection.
probably as we will meet our old nemesis Fernando Torres who always either scores against us or provides a fantastic assist ( Mata goal in 3 3), or he could do something ridiculous and miss an open goal, then again we have 3 strikers who all have at least scored 6 each against you in the past especially the little pea.
All teams seem to be able to come out of bad runs of form against us - we never seem to be able to do it back. I expect a bit of a disaster for us. 3-1 United.
