I suggest you listen to this masterpiece by The Clash and take these lyrics on board http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkyCrx4DyMk
Nobody made Nige leave! Also, how can you predict that u would have been in the Prem if he had of stayed? if Nige thought he could have took u up back then....why would he have left? He was always destined for the sack anyway. He won't be bothered....he's now rolling in it. pity his poor wife and kids though listening to that boring t wat all day.
I know we have spent money but so many teams think they will go up - about 15 at least start the season aiming for the play offs. You cant just sack everyone who doesnt get promoted otherwise there is only 3 managers in a job each year!! NP has bought in Knockaert, Wood, James, Drinkwater, De Laet and Marshall who are all young and only going to improve. A squad is being built with a real hunger and are improving each year. I like how it is being done and the ethos the team is being built with. I would be absolutely gutted if he left, i think NP and leicester just go together. I can see him as the man to be our long term manager, our very own David Moyes, but we have to stop getting on his back. How long ago was it that we looked unbeatable and someone made a thread showing we would be top by about 13 points if only the 2nd half of the season counted. FFS, if your sacking your manager everytime you lose a little form we need to seriously think about the point in following the sport!!
Totally agree. Pearson is building something slowly but surely. I thought the board were in support of his long term plans for the club? As ever money dictates and like Mandaric, a few bad results and it's panic stations. The lure of the 'promise land' seems to send chairman insane. Makes 'em trigger happy. It's disappointing. The way I see it, Pearson has got rid of a few and brought in value for money, players that should get better in time. When it all comes together we will get promoted naturally giving us the best chance of staying up like Norwich and Southampton. Go up too soon and we'll just be another one season wonder and end up back on our backsides in the championship trying to stave off administration. That's not what I want. NP got shat on the first time around after building something good. We only just missed out on a place at Wembley against Cardiff and he got the bullet shortly after. Surely he deserves the chance to take us that one step further?
Lee Hoos was our Exec at the time, they didnt get on, and Hoos let Hull talk to Pearson without Milans knowledge.
Regardless of that, he left Leicester when they had a good chance of going up the following season. He said he did not feel wanted by Leicester. He might not be wanted again at the end of today or at the season end. Hull took him when Leicester didn't want him and he kicked them in the balls. So yes I was bitter at the time. The thing is when managers fail they still end up raking it in. So, apart from his windfall, what goes around comes around Nige. time for a new hairstyle and personality, you can certaintly afford it.
Sheffield Wednesday are utter ****, we should never lose against them. Need to consolidate to even make the play-offs. Cardiff could absolutely smash us on Tuesday at this rate. Sorry I'm not usually this pessimistic about Leicester, it's just getting really frustrating.
On a positive note, some GREAT results for us today, our Yorkshire brethren, plus Blackpool, have done us proud today
Lets hope we can give Burnley a thumping to make up for the times they have beat us the last few seasons . And I guess we ALL hope Leicester City beat Cardiff..
Well let's face it, the law of averages says they've got to win again at some point, could well be next season though the way it's going Oh, and should we start a 'Will Harry Kane/Chris Wood/David Nugent ever score again' thread?
Leicester are in relegation form, they need to sack Nige as if they take this into next season they'll be real relegation candidates.
