I'd rather we signed a couple of first division journeymen to be honest. At least until we are back in the SPL (Or whatever its going to be called)
We have enough journeymen at the moment. This was never more evident than when we came up against SPL quality in Caley and United......Thank **** Celtic never got hold of us It would be great to see us bringing in a couple of flare players and the Mexican sounds exactly that. But I take your point, we don't need to strengthen to win the Pub leagues - but we do for the cups.
True enough. Still a couple of rough and tumble lower league players to train with could be beneficial to us I reckon. A dilemma indeed.
We need **** all in terms of players and staff until we know what the league set up will be. No point second guessing this ****.
I get ye. Soz boss. We got Cammy Bell, although I still rate Alexander. It's the foreign defence exposing him. Raid Motherwell. Stuart will do us a turn.
The Latinos are always hit or a miss, if it was up to me, I wouldn't be signing any spics, but then again, sometimes I can be a tad old fashioned.
I'm with some of the others in that I would rather get home based players. I can't really think of any South American player that's ever done a job for us apart from Caniggia. Seb Rosanthal anyone? Looking at our last minute foreign disasters this season I would rather save the money. Bolster the defence Gambol mentions Stuart. There's also Hately out of contract at Motherwell. Alternatively get rid of Cribarri and play Jig at centre half. We have plenty of cover up front. The youngsters would come on a lot better having someone like McCulloch beside them. Walter realised the means to success at Rangers was with a home based squad that knew what it meant to play for the club. I'm not knocking Celtic, but I don't want us to go down the league of nations route.
To be fair, Seb was injured on his debut against St Johnstone after about 27 minutes or something daft, so you can't really say much about him, as we will never know. Why are you not knocking Celtic? They are horrible taig ****s.
It was a real shame Seb got crocked, but he was there for 3 years. He did look an excellent prospect.
You're Mark Hateley, You're Mark Hateley, You're Mark Hateley in disguise http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/mark-hateley-rangers-search-players-1752198 Big English plagiarist
The Great Tomato, he scored a few and scored 2 in a 4-2 win against the taigs and his goal celebration is something Usain Bolt still copies to this day.
