    West Brommitch Albyun

    vs.

    Swansea Sitty

    Venew: The Hawthorns

    Kick-off 3am

    Saturday March 9th 2013

Tarquin says that Ash (It’s Chico Time) needs cheering up and that I should write a match day thread. Well, here it is and lets hope it doesn’t have the opposite effect LOL. Don’t worry Chico, there’s no WBA fans on this site so we’re not likely to offend anyone.

Well I was with my mates the other nite in the Stag and Dalek in Abergarngochdulais and we was talking about the West Brommitch game. We looked up what their nickname was and it said the throstles but nobody had heard of a throstle so we guessed it mite be a spelling mistake and it should be apostles or throttles. Anyone know??

Tarquin said he went to the Hawthorns last season and he got a PRICKLY reception. On the plus side they sell lots of SCRATCH cards. Don’t get what he’s on about really.

    Did you know.....??

This is the bit where I give you an interesting fact which you might not know :)

West Brommitch Albyun is somewhere near Birmingham so this might be useful for anyone going to the game. It’s also the nearest Premier League ground to Swansea as the crow flies. I said what if the poor little crow has a broken wing and doesn’t fly in a straight line, maybe more zig-zag like. The others told me to shut up.

    Did you know.....?? No.2

Steve Clarke (he’s the WBA manager) recently won the award for the Most Dour Manager in British Football. On a scale of 1 to 10 he is extremely dour and even beat Sir Alex Ferguson into second place and that takes some doing.

    Mr_Gullible’s Travel Tip

The M50 has been closed recently and this might affect your travel arrangements <ok>

    Meat the Teem
This is wot me and my mates know about the West Brommitch team:

    1. Ben Foster
We figured that if he wears the no.1 shirt then he is probably their keeper <ok>

    3. Jonas Olsson
Wierd-looking Swedish centre-back with long hair and a headband.

    6. Liam Ridgetile
He is quite useful on your roof but you wouldn’t want him anywhere near your football team.

    7. James Morrison
We thought this guy was actually quite a useful player.

    9. Shane Long
Pint-sized leprechaun person from Ireland who looks about 12 years old.

    11. Chris Blunt
He is their captain but definately not the sharpest tool in the box.

    17. Graham Sporrans
Scot who has been known to play in a kilt.

    20. Romelu Lukaku
Surprisingly is a “Belgian”. Apparently he is the highest-scoring teenager in the whole of Europe. Yes, it’s trew.

    21. Youssouf Mulumbo-Jumbo
Apparently he just talks a lot of rubbish. He comes from the Congo which would probably explain why.

    22. Zoltan Gera
Molly thought he was in Flash Gordon. Can anyone verify this?

    24. Peter Odemwingie
Another surprise - he comes from Uzbekistan! This is the one who shot off to Loftus Road on deadline day and then came back with his tail between his legs when it fell through.

    Match Analysis

Both teams already have 40 points and are expected to start with 11 players on the pitch. Both teams can expect to have possession of the ball at some point during the game. WBA could score and Swansea could score so the result could be anything but if neither team scores the most likely result will be 0-0.

    Our predikshan

    WBA 1 Swansea 1

    Mr G.

Mr G, you forget to say that West Brom don't have proper shirts and they wear tesco carrier bags instead.

    Everything else is spot on.

    Mr G makes me laugh

    11. Chris Blunt
He is their captain but definately not the sharpest tool in the shed (as we say in downtown colonial land).

    17. Graham Sporrans
Scot who has been known to play in a kilt. (love to see that)

I cant see Laudrup playing the 3 wingers away, but it did play dividends at home against them

A few questions Musty for you.

    1. Does SHE know she's getting married ?
    2. Did SHE start off life as a SHE ?
    3. Did you enjoy your holiday in Bangkok ?

And finally, totally unrelated why no double points game in this weeks prediction league ?

    Mr G,

I hope Scott has agreed advertising rates for his blatant self promo on your thread??

Definately worth a pint or two for you and Tarquin up The Stag, in my reconing!

Right, I'm off to the game. See you all later, with a bit of luck with 3 lovely points.
