Yes, not for massive money and it was before he'd popped a fence in public.

    Your premonition was correct :)

It was hard not to be impressed with the way he won on Saturday. That was a really competitive race and he absolutely sluiced up. Even the 9/4 that's available now for the Supreme could look big come the day!

Right - anyone care to reveal what's in their AP portfolio? Mine is:

    Supreme - Melodic Rendezvous
    JLT Midnight Chase
    Champion Hurdle Zarkander
    Cross Country Bostons Angel
    Neptune puffin Billy
    RSA Boston Bob
    Bumper Purple Bay
    Pertemps Shut the front Door
    Jewson Arvika Legionnaire
    Ryan Air Sizing Europe
    World Hurdle Peddlers Cross

So in a nutshell if none of that lot wins, or in some cases places, I won't be able to have a bet on friday :emoticon-0112-wonde:

<rofl> Cheers RV! I got shorter odds than many on here because I waited for NRNB to kick in with B365

Ok - against my better judgement I'm listing my Cheltenham portfolio. I'm not going to indicate strength of bet as my son-in-law looks here sometimes, and if he showed this to my daughter, she'd have me committed <laugh>
In some cases I have backed the same horse in two races as final destination is unclear, but only as NRNB

Supreme: Mozoltov 25-1 win and 25-1 ew / Un Atout 20-1 win and 20-1 ew / Cheltenian 40-1 ew
Ch Hrdle: Zarkandar all the way, but unfortunately only at 6-1 / I also did the £100 staking plan plus the Fly as insurance
Neptune: Rule The World 12-1 win / Cheltenian 33-1 ew
    RSA: Dynaste 5-2 win
Coral Cup: Son of Flicka 16-1 win
    Fred Wint: L'Umique 25-1 ew
Bumper: Captain Cutter 20-1 win / Purple Bay 25-1 ew
    World: Wonderful Charm 12-1 ew
County: Forgotten Voice 16-1 ew / Ballynagour 16-1 ew
    Triumph: L'Umique 20-1 ew
Ryanair: Mail De Bievre 25-1 ew
JLT: Ballynagour 12-1 win / Realt Mor (now absent)
QMCC: Mail De Bievre 16-1 ew / Sprinter Sacre evens for Coral's £20 worth
    Byrne: Realt Mor (now absent)
Albert: Rule the World 25-1 ew ..... just in case .......
CGC: Please don't laugh .............. Hunt Ball, back in November, after a couple of bevvies <cheers>

I am leaving most of the handicaps alone until final decs. It may seem like overkill, but the way I see it, I don't have to rush around studying and watching on Tuesday and Wednesday and can enjoy the day more <ok>

    LMFAO <laugh>

I blame the forum Joe. I had managed 40 odd years NEVER backing AP and never regretted it, but since hooking up on not606 and it's previous incarnation, my resistance has been slowly eroded. This IS a bit OTT however <laugh>

The other reason is that I'm going for the first time ever, and don't want to sod about on the day - I've got some of the handicaps to add yet :)

Haha! Joking apart, I think there are some good bets in there, Zarkandar, Son Of Flicka, Wonderful Charm and Purple Bay to name but four. But Hunt Ball has just convinced me you are certifiable mate!

I put a lucky 31 on a good few months back now and judging by the results i think its the last ante post bet i will do!

    Champion Hurdle - Darlan 10/1
Champion Chase - Sprinter Sacre 1/1
    World Hurdle - Big Buck's 6/5
    Mares Hurdle - Quevega 1/1
    Gold Cup - Flemenstar 8/1

One is dead, one might never race again, one doesnt stay and the other two win....bit of a mixed bag! <laugh>
