The question here is, do you want the soppy bollocks awards to grow in to a global phenomenon, possibly rivalling awards like the Oscars, or just be an exclusive underground poll to people who are in the know? I personally think advertising should be encouraged and rewarded, rather than punished. In saying that, I can think of worse punishments, as that is a very fine looking trophy

We get far more viewing figures, even Sky got in contact asking if they could buy the TV rights. OK I just made that second bit up but ours was far more popular and therefore superior. Plus ours had far better voting options. Case closed in my humble opinion.
