My sons' local club is Huddersfield, but they will be raised Tigers. My niece's local club is Man Utd, but she is a tiger too
That's nice but it's not what thread's about. I'm sure you have your reasons for supporting Hull but I can guarantee it's not glory supporting, so there's no problem!
See the above post, it's glory supporting that annoys people, not supporting a club from a different area. Although unless you have family connections in Hull I don't know why you'd pick Hull over your hometown.
Well I did support Leicester as a kid until they got relegated, then I supported Liverpool for a bit until hull got promoted and I decided to support them as the underdogs, I quite like tigers so hull are still my favourite team in England but Barcelona are my main team now.
Dad is a tosser. But I hope his daughter has a brilliant evening. Gets interested in Footy, meets friends who support Hull City and demands Dad buys her a full Tigers kit and grows up to become a Hull City Fanatic.
Lots of anti-Beverley sentiment for some reason. I forgot no one in Hull supports any other team than city.
Ehh? No one said anything about Beverley apart from that the bloke is from there so his local team is City...
It is a free country, lots of people support Man Utd. Even my granson had a tour of Old Trafford and he is a Hull City supporter. If truth be know the reason it was put in the paper was cause UEFA or FIFA who ever ran the competition contacted the Mail about it. Happens all the time. Guy I know completed his Open University degree and they asked him what he found the most difficult part. He told them the time he got kidnapped by a group of militia in West Africa. Next thing he knows Look North are on the phone wanting an interview.
So what your saying is, Bob was kidnapped and brutally gang raped by fosse and AKCJ in Leicester?? But decided to stay there n just come to hull for city games? Peter levy will be salivating over this scoop.
wow , theres too much time n effort wasted grumbling about a little kid getting to be a mascot for a non local club sad !
Agreed. What IF the father supports Man U, maybe he supports Hull City,as well. I thought it was a lovely story-I was happy for the little girl, bless her. She will have that memory for the rest of her life.
I thought the main point here was that the HDM have jumped at the chance to do a piece 'glamourising' watching Man Utd, as if they're honoured and awestruck by being able to do so, yet never seem to bother doing the same for the club that is actually in the area of their readership... (unless we get promoted of course).
This was such huge news, it warranted a follow up story! http://www.thisishullandeastriding....tory-18342413-detail/story.html#axzz2MlCAmQ5h
BLACKPOOL have taken Lesta striker Marko Futacs on loan for a month. IPSWICH TOWN have taken Reading midfielder Jay Tabb on loan for a month.
That the same Jay Tabb who screamed like a tart, when he came here with Coventry in our last promotion season?
