Truth hurts though dont it moderator. Next time before slagging rooney off have a look closer to home. Rooney can and has been a dick but hes provoked. Was barton? or was he just doing what he knows best?

We all know the answer. You yourself are getting wound up so I imagine if you got the stick rooney did you wouldnt keep your cool.

Players have been trying to provoke Barton all season by kicking him and going in late on him and apart from one glitch he has kept his cool and had proven he has turned his life around.

Well done Joey Barton. Always good to see but lets be honest, he receives nowhere near the stick Rooney does and has done far worse than Rooney ever has.

Rooneys also younger and I don't think he needs to turn his life around to much. Do you?

 

I think someone needs to watch a toon match. I remember last season when Barton came back from injury against Peterborough and he went to take a corner and fans were throwing their scarves to him. Wherever he goes on the pitch the nearest fans stand applaud and chants for Joey are among the most joined in. Pardew knows and (as the non-playing staff at the club who appears infront of the press) has regularly said how important Joey is to our team and club. He is loved here and I am proud to have his name on the back of my shirt. He gives everything for the team and is a top player - that's why we love him.

Nah, cheats on his wife with prostitutes, deliberately elbows other players during football matches and swears straight into a camera thus sending his foul mouthed outburst into thousands of homes during the afternoon for kids to hear (and then moans when he is punished for it). He is a model citizen and a perfect role model for all kids.

I'd call it a childish online battle, but suit yourself.

 

It is just a disagreement though. How pointless would internet forums be if they were filled with people agreeing with eachother? Disagreements and arguments don't have to be childish nor do they have to be battles.
