I hope he has a full book for next week. The busier he is at the office, the less time he has to fall off horses.
Dex, thatâs the horse SWC rode to finish 2nd in the GN a couple of seasons back. He could do so again next month. Although Frisco Depot is another possible mount in the GN for the forumâs favourite Corinthian. George, Daddy Robert has a few. SWC's best chance could be on his Frisco Depot on Thursday.
Dank and dreach at Leicester. Correct Barney...a horse I like a lot even though he is knocking on a bit...lively outsider again this year.
Throw in Dickie Johnson and you have a compilation of painful unseats. Then we can have the usual Coleman riding around the horses neck, and AP picking a horse off the floor then miraculously getting it up to win. I will nominate P Carberry for best/worst ride of the week, you can delete as appropriate later.
Re jockeys at the Festival do you know that the Ruby boy hasn't ridden a winner over fences at the meet since old boy Kauto won the 2009 CGC. That's 12.5 days of racing! In the same time Ruby has ridden 10 to victory over hurdles!
Barney, i hope you'll be piling in on Mr. Mullins to be leading trainer at the festival next week..you know it makes sense!
You may as well be watching racing from Leicester on the radio today - no idea if your horse is going to win until they are within 20 yards of the winning post - the BIR must be fun on those races today
The in form Mr Nicholls is a whopping 10/1. Way overpriced if you ask me. MTOY is touched off close home by Dodging Bullets, Overturn bursts the Simonsig bubble and GGW is Laughing (note the capital 'L').
It will always be Mr Henderson for me. Although Mr Mullins should certainly push him close. I wouldn’t be surprised if between them they won 40-50% of the races. I also think Jonjo O’Neill is going to have a good week. Not a stable I’ve ever followed but he looks to have a few nice types lined up.
This To Live in the next ran a stinker LTO but before that ran a nice race behind three subsequent winners off 107. Dropped 5lb's today and another 3lb's off for the claim and he may be worth an e/w dart at 10/1
Just the one for me today COCKNEY TRUCKER 4.00 SANDOWN. Only 2-1 but looks very well handicapped judging by his effort on Saturday. Traveled like the winner and drop back a couple of furlongs should suit. Good luck
Soft ground now looking a certainty for Tuesday: http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/article/465/8549908/soft-going-for-start-of-festival Positive for Hurricane Fly and surely a negative for Overturn?
