Seroiusly, never saw the fascination with 'sprint' training. When do you get the opportunity to sprint 100m in a footbll game? You've either got pace - or more importantly acceleration - over 20/30m, or you haven't. Torres had it once, now he doesn't. Sterling has it now, as did micheal Owen at that age. Robbie Fowler was a ****ing rocket over 10m when he was young - all he needed in the box. Sprint training? Better doing endurance/middle-distance conditioning so that after 30/40 minutes you still have a sprint left in you, and one that you don't have to strain your hammys to do.
There's more to it than running fast. Sure you can sprint different ways, Owen runs in a completely different way to Ronaldo. Besides, Sterling is fast, we want him faster, with power in his stride so he don't get buffeted so easily. Acceleration work too. He's a lot to learn
Michael Owen has become a multi-millionaire by being able to run fast. Aaron Lennon, Theo Walcott and Shaun Wright-Phillips aren't far behind either
There may be a few scientists interested if that was to be the case! We are of different ethnic origins and I'm old enough to be his father
Well you did warn me. Point taken, well not taken, received, no wait, not received, point made. Night folks. Should have went ot bed 2 hours ago, 1am bedtime.
They look like they're in an alehouse to me. Wonder if they're indulging in a bit of native-grown ganja as well?
