Yes, they have to push their arms forward because the watches are so small and restrained Interesting what Kelvin says that Nicola said wait till the end of the season for a new contract and we'll see, but then he gained support from Mauricio and the coaches.
Has anyone noticed how the players are all left handed..? The right hand is for shaking the hand of the manager and the left hand is for holding the pen and showing of the Eterna watch. In comparison, Pochettino's left hand is just lying there on the table, with nothing to do, but show off his watch.
Capitalism certainly is silly sometimes. On an unrelated note, I have just had the urge to buy a new watch. Can anyone recommend one?
Makes me twitch every time I see one. I had a Mont Blanc pen in a presentation box with a special mountain shaped ink well...won it in a writing competition. I lost it somewhere in a move involving storage...didn't realise for a while, so too late to complain. Makes steam come out of my ears.
I only know as I have the same pen - a 40th Birthday pressie a few years ago. I still have it, but never take it to work incase anyone tries to borrow it!

Longer interview with SKD on Player. He seems to be a massive Nicola fan and he suggests that so are the rest of the team. He mentioned that he had wondered about going to a team where he could get some games before Xmas, but Nicola told him he was still in the long term plans. Remember this would be about the time that poor Nigel was on the slippery slope. This all supports what NC said after the sacking that he was close to the players and 'sensed' they were unhappy. Think we've found our nark, boys
Yes I think it's quite clear from this interview and things Adam and Rickie have said that Nigel certainly didn't have the support of Kelvin and other senior players.
I've got one. They're dirt cheap. Mine cost £12 off a bloke at a market in Turkey. He was selling Rolex watches for the same price. All I can say is the shops must put a hell of a mark up on their prices if he could sell them at that price and still make a profit.
Nice one. And my son bought me a lovely Rolex from Thailand. It even has the Rolex hologram to prove its authenticity (although it did come unstuck last week!). Regarding Davis, I'm pleased for him and I can only assume that its leading him towards a coaching role. That said, it does seem an odd decision on purely footballing grounds. I don't know what his wages are but over 3 years its going to be a couple of million no doubt. Thats a lot for someone who helps out in the development of others and sits on the bench, even if he is a great role model etc. Can anyone see him back in the first team as number 1?
Yes, if Boruc is injured or in gaol He says that he would never have got a new contract without support from the manager. I said some time ago that i could see SKD as coach cum 3rd GK in the future. If we get another keeper or Gazza comes good, we would have a decent third keeper (an area you don't want to spend money on).
Is it clear? I've listened to the interview, and he clearly does rate Nicola Cortese. Whether that means he didn't support Nigel is less clear than the fact that he is enjoying the new management (as do all of the players interviewed). Whether appreciating young Mauricio's regime indicates a past failure to support Nigel Adkins I am not sure. What is clear is that we have done well to keep him.
