Yeah some people were saying on our thread they thought Anita and Sissoko etc were being booed whenever they touched the ball. There certainly appeared to be a discernible noise when these players touched it. Don't know if that was just reinforcing media agenda because it's a Russian club, because they could have been booing every one of our players, but it did seem noticeable at times.
Indeed, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt til match reports are filed. Anzi have so many brilliant black players, you'd think they wouldn't bother with that kind of crap.
Getting over to Russia on a Thursday night is not only expensive, but a nightmare. We've filled the capacity at almost every ground we've been to.
I'm sure you know mate, it does go high pitched but if you really listen close to it, you can hear the monkey chants. They do it dead quick so it sounds like a boo.
