Massa seems more confident in the car than Alonso though. I think he will have a stronger season than last but not as strong as Fernando however.

I guess Ferrari are hoping for a DC/Webber/Barrichello/Irvine style number 2 performance from him this year. Solid, quick enough to challenge for podiums and the odd race win, but never a serious rival for Alonso.

Sadly not me this time, got an essay to give in a few days after the GP and I don't think screwing up my sleeping patterns is a good idea...

I'll be up for qualifying and the race though, but 1am-4am lol no chance!

I was thinking that McLaren's current problems are just set-up related and once they understand the car they would be challenging for wins and podiums. Now I'm not so sure.

I don't think the MP4-28 is nearly as bad as the F2012, but it is sounding more and more like Ferrari last year. Problem for McLaren is that if the top teams really are closely matched then being a few tenths off the pace could make them 4th or 5th quickest.

Too little for the Blazon McLaren, precisely in the year that celebrates its 50th anniversary.

LOTUS SUFFERS A CHANGE And others? The Lotus has developed around the car body of E20 sophisticated aerodynamics (to Enstone insist on DDRS): Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean found the car easy to drive and consisting in durations. Have never tried the timing with the soft tyres and could be a surprise at the beginning of the League, although they are often plagued by gearbox trouble and electrical parts. The Sauber pays some extremes of tummies close: suffers from high temperatures, but the potential is there, like good ideas.

AND THE REST IS IN THE GROUP Williams has been appended to the Red Bull with discharges to ramp: FW35 is interesting, even if it seems unbalanced between front and rear (solid) (miniaturized), while Force India remains formidable on the slopes fast, but will pay the team's financial instability in the Indian capital. Expected more from Toro Rosso: it cannot be that the team's level of Faenza, but the feeling is that the two pilots are not able to give good information to James Key and Luca Furbatto. Too bad...

This is the only race where the practice sessions are actually broadcast here in Aus. Whether it's because it's the home GP or because it's the first race season I dunno, but assuming I don't have too many uni assessments I'll be able to see them.
