Massa seems more confident in the car than Alonso though. I think he will have a stronger season than last but not as strong as Fernando however.
I guess Ferrari are hoping for a DC/Webber/Barrichello/Irvine style number 2 performance from him this year. Solid, quick enough to challenge for podiums and the odd race win, but never a serious rival for Alonso.
I am going to be here 01:30am sharpish on Friday However I will miss China and Malaysia as I am on holiday.
Sadly not me this time, got an essay to give in a few days after the GP and I don't think screwing up my sleeping patterns is a good idea... I'll be up for qualifying and the race though, but 1am-4am lol no chance!
Hulk reckons RB9 was topped up with a lot of fuel. http://sportbild.bild.de/SPORT/form...xklusiv/huelkenberg-macht-den-rennertest.html
I've heard about Kimi and Vettel praising Mercedes... Now Hulk with his revelations on the RB9... Ferrari saying they are going to max everything in Aus and aim for the podium... Webber being aggressive... Mercedes playing down their car... Williams aiming for the front... Torro Rosso boys saying they have no friendship... Sutil saying he has nothing to prove to Di-Resta... Button being told he needs to stop Perez being cocky... Pre-season mind games I reckon.
If the Red Bull were as heavy as people say I doubt they would be up shifting through corners where others lift off.
I was thinking that McLaren's current problems are just set-up related and once they understand the car they would be challenging for wins and podiums. Now I'm not so sure. I don't think the MP4-28 is nearly as bad as the F2012, but it is sounding more and more like Ferrari last year. Problem for McLaren is that if the top teams really are closely matched then being a few tenths off the pace could make them 4th or 5th quickest.
This is the only race where the practice sessions are actually broadcast here in Aus. Whether it's because it's the home GP or because it's the first race season I dunno, but assuming I don't have too many uni assessments I'll be able to see them.
