    Not guilty your honour

All bets now for me will be struck on the day - markets are squeezed right up and you're likely to get better odds on the day

Christ this weather forecast has got me worried now - hope the frost covers do their job, it would be unthinkable were the course to be unraceable <yikes>

    No chance Oddy.

Even if there was a frost it would be burnt off by the extra sunlight and higher temps at this time of year..first race isn't until 1.30 also.

Frost wouldn't be a problem as said above, snow would though, although most snow forecast is for the east of the country and it will turn a bit milder after tuesday although staying pretty cold all week.

No dress code so 15 togs all the way! At least pickpockets will be foiled as mittens will be order of the day

Looking at the forecast the Cross Country must be a serious doubt for Tuesday, as there won't be any frost covers on there. Plus after 2 fatalities in the race last year they won't take any chances on the ground.

the mc Cain organisation seem to be struggling for winners, lots of fancied/punted animals failing to score, is this a bad omen for next week regarding the festival-- i am always wary of yard 'form'- and factor in accordingly...
