It is understood Liverpool and Spurs have sent scouts to watch Christian Eriksen ( and therefore Ajax ) “almost every week”. (Independent)

 

Someone saying on twitter, who is usually fairly reliable, Keisuke Honda has been definitely contacted by Liverpool

 

Right now, Eriksen would probably choose spurs, especially with the CL. Honda could be realistic and I did like Cissokho's comments recently as well.

 

Tottenham got the Holtby bargain. They can leave off Eriksson.

 

I think Holtby looks very average considering all the hype there was about him, he will prob be better next season but at the moment im actually delighted we did'nt sign him.

I'd love to see Eriksen here than Honda. Haven't really watched the Jap play, but in the few clips I've seen on Youtube, he doesn't look all that convincing.

I don't see why he'd want to join Spurs, even if they qualify for CL. Bale plays in the central role now and there's Holtby aswell, pretty stupid if he chose them.
It's clear he's desperate to leave Ajax, he rejected a new contract this jan, so wouldn't be all that expensive either.

I think Spurs will focus their transfer funds more on a striker or two. In the past AVB has build his front threes with a main striker in the middle, a winger on one side and a flexible striker on the other. Lennon - Damiao - Hulk with Bale behind or Dempsey - Damiao - Bale with Erikkson behind.

I'm not sure they have the wealth to sign three players of that cost level.

What if Bale was to leave them? Not that I think he will.

 

I think Spurs will go after two big players.... Moutinho and Damiao.

 

I'm not sure on Mountinho any more. They went for him in the summer but Dembele has been fantastic this season.

 

Oh come on, the lad as only just joined! He needs time to settle (granted, you said this) and he is only 22 years old too. Fair enough if you don't rate him or don't believe he will be that great but you can't really say you are 'delighted we didn't sign him' after just four games!

 

Not sure we will have the funds to buy Eriksen after forking out for Neymar


Seriously though, we have an advantage if it is between Spurs and us, Eriksen as played alongside our star man before

 

We will definitely have the funds to get Eriksen, he will have 12 months of his deal left in the summer as will another very good player Centre Back Toby Alderweireld

Also Agger and Suarez will know him well ( as will Verthonghen at Spurs ), and theres a couple of ex LFC players at Ajax in Babel n Poulsen at the mo

 

Maybe not the best players to ask about LFC though??? Don't think they will have kind words.

Eriksen would be good and De Vrij. I would take those two for sure.

As someone else said above, after signing Fordinho, I'm not sure another number ten will be priority

 

Rory Smith says LFC will be looking at both Eriksen and Strootman in summer but there will be competition from other clubs for them.

 

Not sure where Stootman fits in with us.

 

ya seems strange when we just spent 15 mil on Allen to then buy strootman. Can see why we would get a DM or AM but not another CM.

 

I cant see Strootman signing.
