I've seen Robbie Williams twice I'll have you know, although this was very much at his peak of popularity solo wise, Rock DJ and all that.

Weekend in Brussels first time and Cardiff millenium stadium second, both really excellent if I'm honest. Can't lie, I enjoyed, although I wouldn't have a clue what he's been up to or released since, I thought he was back In Take that?

I've also seen Wham! in concert.<ok>

    Oh my god.

I can't believe any self respecting male could go see robbie Williams once let alone twice.

I went along with my girfriend of course and a group of us. I didn't just think one morning, "you know what, I quite fancy going to see Robbie"

Again though, I'm not afraid to say he was good value and I enjoyed thoroughly.

Trying to have a frugal weekend. Spent a ridiculous amount of cash Tuesday. Aldi pizza and annoyingly got no ketchup.

Had a couple of cheeky pints after work, have a bottle of Rioja ..

Opposite for me this weekend. Treated the missus to a massage yesterday for women's day. That's something I highly recommend by the way - no one in the UK seems to care about women's day so it's a great way to get brownie points, particularly if you couldn't be arsed to go OTT on Valentine's day.

Anyway, halfway through her massage the masseuse collapsed and had to go to hospital. So not only did we not have to pay for the massage, we also got a voucher for a free one in the future. So I saved £80 and get a free £80 massage for her in the future. So I'm off to find a nice restaurant for lunch, with some salmon fillets for dinner / tea / whatever we're supposed to call it so Ruff doesn't get pissed off <ok>

Call it whatever makes you all happy. I think if it's in a restaurant you'd be within your rights to call it lunch if you see fit!

This weekend is far from cheap given it's Mothers Day tomorrow, which is another good reason to ignore womens day to be honest. I send my own mother the obligatory bunch of flowers every year from my kids (used to be from me) and those don't come cheap and I also get my girlfriend a present from the kids.

She set the tone in this as the very first mothers/fathers day we shared after our first boy was born was indeed fathers day and I got a pair of Ray Ban Aviators.
It's been like that since, although she was meant to be off to Cardiff next weekend and I'd said (in mockney accent) get yerself something nice.
So, I'll have to get flowers tomorrow anyway in lieu of that so she's got something on the day.

Her and her mate, daft buggers that they are, had identified next Saturday for their shopping day. I wasn't going to say owt but relented and pointed out that it is Wales v England and perhaps not the best day to be shopping in Cardiff. They'd have just turned up at the train station, clueless.
