Always stick a tenner on the start of the season picking league winners with potential winnings of around £15k to £20k. Bet got busted when I backed Real & Linfield to win their leagues. Stuck another on at Xmas but picked Chelsea to win league cup. So thought last week I would give it one last go. Man Utd, Cardiff, Swindon, Celtic, Cliftonville, Barca, Bayern, PSG, Monaco, Juve, Copenhagen, Grasshoppers, Galatasaray, Porto, PSV. Hearts league cup, Celtic Scottish cup. £30 down, £11k if I win, confident enough in the league winners, not so much so in the Scottish cups. Any team can have an off day / play out of their skin when expected to lose. Anyone else got any season long wagers down?
i dont bet, cos its obvious that the football teams have a deal with bookies to throw games etc and have the odd stupid result like if the top team in the league is at home to the bottom team you get loads of dafties lumping on for meagre odds then they lose 3-0
Agreed but they have to win there sometime. Plus going out of Europe and the league practically wrapped up they will probably now be focusing on the double.

I got Spain & Torres top goalscorer last Euro's, though i thought I had him as golden boot winner and was over the moon. Then realised he shared topgoalscorer with 4 or 5 other players. Gutted.
