Good news Leo, fingers still corssed for you though.

All is well over here, nearly at the top of the mid-week hill :)

Looking forward to a relaxing weekend!

Still chuffed with the fight back, after Palace and Wolves I was worried last night. Good to see we have fighting spirit still. I was saddened at Dyche's sacking, and in some ways it could have been handled with more respect. However, Zoa is doing an amazing job and we are SECOND !!!

Except for money in their supporters buying extra shirts, why did Real Madrid wear dark green? Was this to hide in the grass and surprise the locals? White does not clash with red.

Very good question, ak - and I suspect that you've answered it yourself. It's not really a game for fans anymore - it's all about ripping off every last penny that can be ripped off from fans.

The French press are tonight reporting that IKEA which withdrew it's meatballs from sale a couple of weeks ago because horse meat was not on the label, has now had to withdraw it's chocolate muffin type cakes because something that you could find in a sewerage treatment plant was found in them.

It seems that it is not just their assembly instructions that are dodgy. :(

I heard that IKEA were going to sponsor a football club - they are going to play with a Flat Pack 4 !

Regarding Real Madrid wearing that kit, they mentioned something them having to change kits because of a clash in the colour of their shorts?

The big managers did not get as far as my office yesterday. So there is no change in the broken management line.

More snow we have since yesterday and the temperature is warmer but still minus celsius.

Thankfully, my current healthy eating regime doesn't include anything like that.:)

They won't find such noxious substances in the copious volumes of fruit & veg that I currently consume - will they..........?:emoticon-0145-shake

Morning all from a rainy West West London - I was beginning to dread the announcement of a hose-pipe ban as it has not rained for a couple of weeks!

Many thanks for the frothy AK - much appreciated!

H - The Costa in my office has a special on Fair Trade this week and they are donating 5p from every item purchased to Fair Trade. Trouble is, most of the items like their Chocolate Cup Cakes and Eccles Cakes are made in the UK and do not use any Fair Trade ingredients and at £1.30 for a cake they can stick them. They are just using the Fair Trade logo to push sales of their over-price crap produce. Another bunch of shysters...

As I tell my lovely wife when she is enjoying my home grown tomatoes, runner beans and veg, they must be about 50% reconstituted horse poo. I even showed her some horse poo last year and told her that next year she would be eating it.

To the right of the "reply with quote" button - bottom right is another quote symbol with a + - just press that

Apparently it was because of Man Utd wearing white shorts. They wanted to wear their all-white kit, but weren't allowed as the shorts clashed. Man Utd refused to change their shorts, so Real changed their whole kit. Not sure why they couldn't wear white shirts and 'away' shorts - being from Madrid, maybe they were worried it didn't go

Just been told that the Sponsors night planned for next Thursday has been postponed until the end of the season - that is great news. Team should be 100% focussed on winning every game and fully agree - I moan every year that February and March is far too early.

    Good article <ok>

Opinion is divided over us, but most of the people so against our 'model' are the ones directly affected by it. The last couple of days it was SW fans, and if we win Saturday I'm sure it will be Blackpoool fans, and just before and after we played Palace, it was Holloway!

I'm sure if it was happening to any one of their teams, they wouldn't be so up in arms about it. As they mention in that article, surely our way is better than getting into masses of debt, risking the club's future...
