It's pretty impressive getting knocked out of 3 European trophies in just over a year Fergie really doesn't seem to have a clue when it comes to European footy. I guess it shows how limited they are in competitions that they don't start every game with 12 men

Yeah that fact was not lost on me. Despite qualification every year.. they are 8th overall in EC successes. One of those not even won in that time. What can I say, our success over the past 20 years has made us very popular. Liverpool need to try and capture some of our fanbase and vying for 6th place each season is the right way to go about it. Fairly soon they won't be reliant on just the local supporters and a handful of Irish ex-pats with an inferiority complex and a collection of Kevin Keegan duvet covers.

God I hope not, the only trophy Fergie has failed to win is the UEFA Cup and that's very much your territory lads (subject to qualifying for it)!
