Becchio had no option but to put in a transfer request. A year later Lorimer tried to shift him while this time Mick Jones was given the job of hawking him around. Disgraceful treatment of a great servant to our club. But to be expected, cos in recent years, thats the way bates moves on players. Makes sure the fans that cant see through it, turn on them

They have a musuem for trashed, rusted old trains?

Must have been one of Ken Bates' brilliant ideas to have the stadium be in use more than just a few times per year!

I think the current squad is good enough for a top six finish. I think with few additions it could be a very good squad contending for auto. We seem to have good balance all over the pitch with half decent back-up for every position. Who exactly out of that first team is the weak link and needs replacing? Realistically I only think Varney, of course we can improve on other areas as always (like Norris for example but I wouldn't say it is necessary to make that a good team)

I feel as though that Warnock is not getting anywhere near the amount out of the squad as he should be and I think the style of play is a lot to blame.

Morning, I'm with Josh I think. Not sure why Hall isn't playing to add some natural width. But that's life. Saturday will now be very interesting. If we draw, we're still in with a chance of top 6, albeit at a squeeze. If we lose, that's it, especially if those around us all win. If we win & having noted we've got Posh at home next up, top 6 really does remain a real possibility.

Change of subject: After what happened at the theatre of dreams.... sorry nightmares, maybe Turks aren't quite so bad afterall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely ****ing robbed. Warnock's negative tactics at the end cost us AGAIN. We drew because we stopped harrassing them in the midfield. If they were knackered then bring on fresh legs in the midfield whose only job is to get in the face of whoever has the ball. Get diouf on for Morrison, Morrison was ****ing ****e. Least diouf can hold onto the ball. McCormack for Pearce, I saw that goal coming and its down to inviting pressure on AGAIN. Why does he never learn?

Steve Morison - 4 - Very little effort, didn't look interested in parts and just not good enough.

    we did warn you <laugh>

In the last couple of minutes, its not a bad idea taking a forward off, especially one that has forgotton where the goal is, and bringing on a defender.

Why not frustrate the opposition by making three individual substitutions, slowly trudging off the pitch, then Diouff holding the ball up, drawing a foul. Brown running around for 5 minutes frustrating the opposition sitting in front of the defence. Why, oh why, oh why?

No win situation for Warnock to be fair,if he had changed the team and conceded, you would be saying why did he change the team that had defended well all night,he did bring on pearce and should have been enough to see out game, but a point at Leicester is still good give him some credit.

The pressure was invited on because our players were knackered and were unable to harry and hassle the Leicester players as they had done all game. This gave Leicester time and space to knock the ball around and pressurise us, forcing corners and taking pot shots, making our players panic to the point where I think it was Tonge had yards of space and plenty of time to compose himself and boot it goalwards with Schmeichel off his line, but instead booted it out sidewards at the first opportunity for a throw in.

All we needed to do was keep the pressure going for a few more minutes. Subs to waste time, Diouf to hold the ball up, Brown (or somebody better) to break up play as we had been doing all game. Get Brown and Austin on for Tonge and Norris with their only instructions being to get right up in the face of anybody who has the ball.
